Tom and his team did and amazing job,I was impressed how they managed two big trees that were about 15m height, definitely going to call them back as I have more trees that need to go down.

Excellent service in lowering the tall laurel hedge at the bottom of the garden .All the branches and leaves were removed and the garden left extremely tidy . I was very impressed and would not hesitate in recommending Pitchford tree services .

Enquired with Tom to have a large ash tree significantly cut back due to being affected by ash dieback. He was prompt to reply and was able to come out quickly to inspect the tree and provide a quote. The work was arranged to be carried out quickly which impressed us. On the day the work was being carried it wasn’t Tom who came to the site as we’d expected. To carry out the job it was necessary for them to hire a mewp and this was brought through the garden. Sadly they didn’t place down any boards to protect the lawn which resulted in our lawn being torn up and 4 stepping stones being cracked and driven into the ground. When removing limbs, they were not all carefully lowered like we expected them to be and the result of this meant that approximately 15 patio slabs were cracked as well as fencing being damaged.Tom came later on to collect the payment and inspect the work. We emphasised how pleased we were with how the tree was now looking, exactly as we had requested but also pointed out the damage around the garden which was put down to being “just one of those things”. Unfortunately, this meant that we had to returf a large section of our lawn, replace fencing and replace slabs. Not ideal and not what we expected to need to do after having the work done. Repairs were costly and the job itself was certainly not cheap in the first place. Wouldn’t recommend to others due to the damage caused.

Fantastic job. Turned up on time and didn't stop all day. Left site clean and tidy. Very polite workers and kept me informed with everything they we're doing. Recommended this service to friends and relatives.
