We had rising damp and from Jamie's full survey and knowledge it was discovered we had penetrating damp from a blocked down pipe which caused sodden brick work and a mini pool near the drain. Jamie made recommendations, he didn't try to blind me with jargon I didn't understand. He asked for a £250 deposit for the work to secure his services, which wasn't an issue as in the current climate late cancellations affect trades. Jamie and Phil came at a time arranged and the work was just as described, they worked through Monday and half of Tuesday, as due to the weather the work wasn't drying, they came back Wednesday and finished the work to a very high standard. Jamie and Phil's manner is very polite and respectful, Jamie went next door out of courtesy to our elderly neighbour to look at her walls to make sure they were not effected. He also needed access to the wall via her garden and she was very happy for him to carry out our work from her property. They finished the work and cleared up as best the could, plus left us with recommendations about how to best replace the skirting boards damaged by the damp and to not use nails as this will only penetrate the work they had done. I am very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend them for all plastering and damp work.
