Guitar School

My son, Owen, loves music and had his first drums lesson on Sunday with Mark. He absolutely loved it, and came out buzzing with excitement, practicing what he'd learnt all the way home, he can't wait for his next lesson. Mark was great with him. I highly recommend Guitar School to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Best thing ive done for my daughter 8 now 9years old. Mark is an amazing teacher. She started lessons in january through lockdown so skype lessons and what hes been able to teach her in that time and not face to face is amazing. You can hear her having a laugh and really enjoying the lessons,music and my daughter is loving it, so a massive thankyou to Mark actually been able to get her to stick to a hobby

Mark is an amazing teacher. He is incredibly patient, enthusiastic and friendly.My child started bass tuition a few months ago, and is loving her lessons.As well as learning the theory of scales and a range of different bass lines, Mark also picks really cool songs for my daughter to play, which makes her learning more interesting, enjoyable and relevant.Highly recommended. A really nice guy.

Mark has been teaching my daughter the guitar for a number of months and she really enjoys her lessons in his studio. Mark is very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging which is building my daughters confidence each week. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to learn.

I can't say enough good things about Mark and guitar school. My son has thrived under Mark's tutoring and is becoming a really confident player. The atmosphere is relaxed and the lessons are always pitched to challenge but not overwhelm. My son always comes out of the class bouncing and feeling like he has progressed and achieved something new and wants to come back to the next lesson to show he has improved furrher. Its fantastic that there is a clear curriculum to follow for all levels of player with world recognised certification to work towards.Mark clearly understands the students and is able to bring the best out if them while making the lessons both fun and enjoyable.Definitely the best decision we made in signing our son up to the guitar school.

More than a teacher, Mark will quickly become your companion who will guide you through your guitar playing journey, regardless of age or experience with the instrument. He can easily tailor lessons and courses to each student’s specific needs and requirements. As a reasonably experienced player, Mark was easily able to identify areas that needed improvement and created a plan which has been enjoyable and enlightening to follow. Lessons are never boring and he will occasionally throw a curve ball where you’re not expecting to further peak your interest. For anybody thinking about picking up the guitar for the first time, do it, it’ll no doubt be a friend for life and there could be no better person than Mark to show you the way forward. As a more mature novice student of the ukulele, I was nervous about signing up for lessons. Mark made me feel at ease and the lessons I have had so far have been excellent, This is for personal pleasure mainly and I have now mastered the chords I need to progress into playing songs. Mark has been very helpful every step of the way and I would highly recommend anyone to pay him a visit if you want to learn to play the ukulele in the North East Wales/Chester area.

I have been having ukulele lessons with Mark for several months now and have absolutely loved it. I have found a new passion in life and have fallen in love with the ukulele!
