Adminout Property Surveyors

Booked a survey with the company as they were able to do one quicker than other companies at this busy time. On day of the survey. Our seller informed us that no one had turned up. I rang to ask and was informed it was booked for later that day.. still no show.The seller then contacted the company to see where the surveyor was. He was told they would call him back..this never happened.I rang the following day to get an answer..was told would call back. No phonecall. Sent and email and no response. 2 days later after still no contact. I rang. Was first told that the lady looking into it was on the phone..give it 10 mins..rang back and she had gone out... Try after 1. Tried after 1 and phone rang out or cut off. This was a Friday and so by end of day we couldn't arrange to get another survey booked.Finally we received an email Monday after demanding out money back. It was a vague response saying they didn't know why the surveyor didn't show up that was all they said.The next available date was 2 weeks away as he was now self isolating!After an apology we were told they would pay an extra £50. We did suggest a bit extra as we wanted to make up for our seller booking the day off work for nothing.This has never appeared.All this company had to do was communicate and there wouldn't of been an issue.

I would highly recommend Adminout. We booked a level 3 survey. The price wasn't the lowest but definitely not the highest I'd found. Christina booked in the survey with the vendor within an hour of me emailing. The survey was carried out and the report completed in two days.Unfortunately though I didn't receive the report. I waited for a while until emailing and finding out they had apparently sent it. Christina got people to send it again but I was receiving nothing. I'm not going to lie, this was really frustrating at the time. Christina was on holiday but hadn't put an out of office on her emails so I didn't know. It seems to be impossible to contact anyone but Christina if there's a problem and this is my one criticism.When Christina got back she explained what had happened and I was satisfied with the explanation. She also offered me a partial refund which I accepted and was grateful for.Regarding the actual report - it is second to none. I have showed it to several people now who have all commented on the detail and quality being fantastic.Unfortunately for us, it is looking like our sale will not go through due to issues in the survey we didn't envisage and the seller not budging on price. My husband and I both agreed we would like to use Adminout wherever we go next.- Sam

Booked our survey and received the report back within less than a week! We were in a hurry and had a tight deadline to meet, and both Christina and Paul were very accomodating. Overall, we are very pleased with the services and price.

Worked with Christina Flanagan and I have to say the way she explained and helped me understand my survey and the levels of information I received was outstanding , also she was happy to offer her knowledge about the area and that I appreciated. Overall I had a very good and profesional experience working with them .

We paid our money and were advised the report would be available in 3-5 working days, nearly 10 working days and no report. Email chasers are being ignored and surveyor is also ignoring phone calls and texts. Try to leave a voicemail and his mobile voicemail is full. We know it’s a busy time however to totally ignore any emails or calls isn’t acceptable. If we’d been advised the surveyor was busy and there would’ve been a delay, that would’ve been better than nothing.

This is my first review of a company, the customer service that I have received has been like no other. I could always speak with Christina and the surveyor, bringing me so much peace of mind. The report was detailed and easy to follow, the reassurance that the report has given me is unbelievable. My last report from a lender was full of disclaimers and made me uncertain whether to even buy the property. I had a RICS Building Survey and added a valuation and reinstatement figure so i could make sure the price was right for the property. Your company has saved me so much stress and for that I will be forever thankful.

Christina who arranged my survey was a pleasure to work with, she provided prompt answers to my questions and was very helpful. Paul Lamb, who performed my survey, created a fantastic report which has identified some matters that we need to investigate further. He also held a follow-up phone call with me where he answered my follow-up questions with great clarity to enable me to understand further. Fully recommend.

Absolutely awful business. We had a survey booked early September 2020, the surveyor didn't turn up on the day and then it took Admin out over a week to offer us a rebooking date for 4 weeks later in October. They were apologetic at first and offered us compensation however that didn't happen and we've had no further response from them. They refused to tell us what went wrong and didn't apologise.I've found their service appalling. They don't respond to any emails and everytime we called we either got a voice mail (they never return calls) or if they do answer they would just tell us whoever we need so speak to isn't at her desk!? We actually thought they'd gone out of business at one point!This company has made the very stressful process of buying a house a million times worse I wouldn't wish their service on anyone! We've since booked and had a survey completed with Cosey Homes who were wonderful in comparison.EDIT: I find the response to this review quite frustrating and insulting. We were told the survey was booked and confirmed so I'm not sure why Admin out failing to confirm with the surveyor the original appointment date is our fault. You organised it with our estate agent. you believed your survey was taking place." You told us the survey was booked and confirmed? "No terms and conditions was sent and no payment for the survey was made." I am not responsible for your failure to send an invoice or for your lack of ability to tell us you hadn't had confirmation from the Surveyor! You sent us emails confirming the date booked.To be very clear I am complaining about the lack of communication skills

I can't fault the service and report received for the Level 3 Homebuyers Survey. The communication through out and the report received was faultless. My solicitor commented on the detail of report. If I buy a house again, I will most certainly be using Aminout again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY1 star is being kind, I would give minus stars if I could. Utterly incompetent is all I can say. We booked a full structural survey for the 2nd September and were told they would be out in the afternoon and would contact the vendor direct to arrange a time. The day arrived and no sign of the surveyor. The vendor had to call the office to find out what was going on, to be told the survey wasn’t going ahead because of the weather. Apparently due to the rain it was a “health and safety” issue.Luckily for us we were in direct contact with the vendor or we would never had known. No contact whatsoever to ourselves. Countless phones calls, voicemail messages left and even a lengthy email and still no response. Eventually got a call in the evening to say the next survey would be the 21st September!!Needless to say we are going elsewhere due to how unprofessional they have been. I would not recommend this farce of a company.My advice - avoid or risk disappointment!
