Prompt service, and happy with the price to have my boiler serviced. John kept me up-to-date with his arrival time, which was very helpful! Highly recommended.

Please avoid. He fitted a boiler for us which we had to pay again to have done properly. Took him to small claim’s court to cover the cost which he was ordered to do and still hasn’t.

Had to replace my old boiler which meant running new gas main pipe and repositioning the new boiler. All completed to great satisfaction within 5 days. Couldn't knock workmanship and a good price for the whole job.

Quick response. Turned up. Did the do. All working and didn’t try and sell me a new boiler / say it wasn’t fixable! Reasonable fee and friendly. What’s not to like?

My late parents and I have used John-Paul for many years. On this occasion, I booked him to fit a new shower screen and tap. I supplied the new parts. He failed to arrive on two occasions and was some hours late on another, which caused a great deal of inconvenience. Apparently, emergencies had arisen which he prioritised over my job.He knows his plumbing, but, on this occasion, he cracked the wall tiles in several places when pulling the frame of the old screen from its fixing. He’s not the tidiest of workers and I only noticed the damage when cleaning up after him.He left promptly at 5pm that day and wouldn’t stay for the short time needed to fit the tap I had provided. He arranged to return the following week, but again cancelled at the last minute due to new emergencies which he felt took priority over my work. He did arrive on time the following day.His bill for fitting the new screen, taking away the old one, replacing one tap and applying a bit of silicone sealant to the bath panel was £300 which I paid, but which, in the circumstances, I felt was very expensive indeed.The bathroom looks fine now - mostly due to my efforts, but I have reservations about the standard and cost of the work and he was pretty unreliable on this occasion.
