Harrow Choi Kwang Do is a great Martial Arts school run by a very friendly and approachable Master Instructor. The Classes are great for Adults and Children alike with the focus on Disipline, Hard Work and a very friendly and enjoyable sessions highlighted by the regular get togethers outside of the school and annual Summer and Xmas Parties which had a great attendanceAlong with the regular school there is a Womans Only Self Defence Class every month which is very highly received with the emphasis that anyone can learn to train whether they have a goal of reaching higher ranks, self defence or just for general health and fitness.I have been training in Martial arts for 17 years, since my teens, in various different styles and schools and cant recommend this school highly enoughI personally took a 4 year break due to personal commitments and was welcomed back into the school with open arms and carried on where I left off, one of the main factors of which I now choose this as my main school to train in.A very hospitable Martial Arts School, without discrimination and where you walk away training hard but having a lot of fun - a balance which is very important for me at this stage of my life.If you are unsure about the class the best thing to do would be to come and have a watch, get a feel for the class and then the next visit you can have an induction class to get a feel.Ask the instructor about a free trial, he is always willing to give a few weeks free trial so new starters can make up their mind if its the right thing for them, which is brillaint as there is no hard sell to join - again another thing which you do not always experiene at other Martial Arts/Self Defence Schools.

Harrow Choi Kwang Do is an outstanding martial arts school. The website has alot of information about the martial art and the instructor team. There are many instructors here all with different skills, under the same art. The school has been running for more than 14 years, so they are well established. Well worth checking out, and a good social activity. It's for all ages and abilities and people alike.

This is a fantastic Martial arts school, with excellent instructors. The structure allows students to learn key skills and also gets them to take responsibility outside the training classes. Highly recommended for all age groups.

In order to learn anything new or make a personal transition, a great coach is needed. Look no further as you will find such professionalism at harrow CKD.Great venue and very professionally taught classes. As a trainer you will get all the information about your transition / progression as your attendance becomes regular. Information provided is confidential and very productive. The support service is very is gold standard. You will not feel neglected as a student/trainer. For example; you will have access to videos / virtual training so that you can learn at your own leisure time when not at the venue/dojo.The school also has instructors / coaches with more than 20 years of experiences in teaching and guiding students to move forward. My experiences with coaches across the CKD sector is vast. Professionalism is a top priority for these coaches. Even after 23 years I am still around coaches I first started training with. Success leaves clues and these coaches surely have left clues for others to follow and lead in the future.I highly recommend everyone to take a step to come and meet coach(s) at Harrow CKD. They are all very friendly and possess ample amount of knowledge and experiences. You will not be disappointed.

I have been training at Harrow Choi Kwang Do for over 15 years in the adult class. Starting my training in 2004 with hardly any martial arts experience, I was a little nervous to start with, 15 years later and now as a second degree black belt, I can honestly say I would never have got to where I was without the great teaching of the school instructor team that have helped me along the way.Having trained for close to 15 years, I can say that learning martial arts at Harrow CKD has helped to keep me in good shape, doing the martial art has helped to keep my core strong which has helped me stay in good health overall. Lessons are challenging and you will certainly feel your cardio and strength improve, lessons are also varied in content which keeps the learning fun.All the instructors and other students in the school are extremely friendly so if you are a little nervous starting on your own, then I can assure you that you will fit in straight away and make great friends in the process.Communication from the school is very good, monthly newsletters are sent out so you are always kept informed of all news and events. The venue is nice and spacious, there are well maintained changing rooms and plentiful parking.Overall, Harrow CKD has been a positive influence on my life, I hope to continue training at Harrow CKD for as long as possible. I have now got my eldest daughter started with this martial art at Harrow CKD so she can gain all the positives from the martial arts in the same way I did, aspects such as confidence, self-belief, determination, all traits which studying the martial art helped instill in me. I hope to also enrol my youngest daughter as soon as she is old enough, this alone is testament of how good training at this school is.Thank you to everyone at Harrow CKD for making my martial arts journey a very enjoyable one.

My son attended Kenton Martial Arts for a year until he went to college. At the beginning he got 2 free trials after which he decided to continue. The staff were very friendly and professional. Communication was ongoing, via email and WhatsApp. Any queries that I had were dealt with promptly. There were also monthly newsletters sent out. There was regular testing and parents were encouraged to watch the Belt-testing which I did. It was great to see the sparring between opponents and see how my son developed in confidence. I hope to be able to send my other children when they are ready.Below comment from my son:“It is a good martial art school that has great facilities. The teachers are very helpful, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. The lessons teach self-defence skills and give me confidence and self-discipline. My fitness level also increased.”

I have been training at Harrow Choi Kwang Do for over a year now and enjoy it!All 3 of my children have trained at the school and my youngest one is still there. They all achieved black belt under Master Lad.Master Lad & his assistants are great mentors, they work really hard & are very approachable. Always willing to help with any training issues you may have. The school facilities are very good, great hall & changing facilities with ample parking facilities. There is a lot of support when training for your belt, you have the class training, the booklet & web link to YouTube. This means you can practice at home and make sure you are doing the patterns correctly.I enjoy going to the classes I am a mature student and train once a week, they make me feel welcomed and I feel part of the class. I have made many friends over the year. I am training steadily up the belts and feel a great achievement when I move up a belt.I also did the Women’s Self Defence class that was very helpful. My daughter loves training as well and has made many friends.I also enjoy the social events that are held throughout the year.
