Sweet Chilli

No idea how this is getting good reviews, it was easily the worst Indian food I've ever had. The pasanda was vile - watery and bulked out with tinned tomatoes. There was literally pools of sweaty-looking water on my plate. It was gritty, totally tasteless and the lamb was rock solid. Considering it took just over an hour to arrive (I live 10 minutes away) I would expect better. Pretty much only the naan was just about edible, but even that was burnt. How do you make bread taste bad?! Get some from sweet chilli and find out.

Telephone order at 17 20,delivery time 1 hrs, 10 mins either way,18 20 phoned back,your next ,18 50 order arrived, not good,the food was lukewarm,so had to be microwaved , not the best of services, on the plus side ,food was amazing, we will use sweet chilli again,my advice, go and pick up,and don't believe the delivery times stated.

Been using this place for as long as I can remember, back from when it was Poulton Tandoori, probably 30 years plus. It has been consistently great in all that time. The customer service is another thing that keeps us going back. They know us by name and our usual" order. Paid over phone! Got charged delivery even though Google website says free delivery over £15 within 3 miles. Manager not even apologetic. Food came and driver tried to charge again. Food not even that hot. Quit disappointed

First time here, bit disappointed as ordered chicken tika & there was literally 5 very wafer thin slices of chicken with a lot of sauce and rice and it was very salty. The peshwari bread was nice.Friends meal... chicken & mushroom balti again hardly any chicken.Onion bhaji was ok and was actually a good portion size.

Myself and my son ordered food on Saturday evening through just eat we waited more than the 45 min we were told it would take.... My son was tracking the delivery. Then he got a call from the driver to say he had left our food with someone else in the building and he had our order. The driver said he had stood outside for 15 mins before he gave the food to a person going in and only then did he ring my son when he was driving away. We had been popping in and out and saw no one. We had no TV on so we could hear when he arrived. I can always hear people approaching the building and coming in. The track of our delivery on my son's phone never brought him to the house and there was no one else in the building to leave food with. If he was outside why not ring the door bell that's what people usually do or knock on the window. ..we never got the order, we paid for it and we wasted our evening messaging back and forth with just eat who said that Sweet Chilli had told them our order was successfully delivered...liars. either they never sent food or the driver has taken it for himself. Disgusting service. Can't rate food as never got it. I will never order from them again and they owe us 21 pound. My son will be pestering them until we get our money back. ..so sweet chilli thanks for stealing from us and ruining our catch-up evening.

My first experience.its take away in poulton road wallasey. sofas in waiting area if u hv ordered somehing in that place or you can have free delivery service. you get halal food. taste of indian food. Recomended for indian community.But while ordering i saw local community ordeting too. for me its 50/50

Super greasy and oily, tasteless and bland. I found it inedible. Then i found out about the 0 score on their hygiene rating, and I'm glad that i didn't eat it. My boyfriend was ill the next morning. I'd definitely avoid.
