The owner made an offer for two pieces of furniture and some ornaments to an aging person in east sussex. They agreed on the price and they shook hands on the deal. He left with some unbreakable ornaments after making an appointment to pick up the furniture and remaining ornaments. He never came back, he said that he was ill, but in fact he left on holiday for three weeks and he said that he'd contact me after the 19/11. Of course he didn't and when i contacted him he now tells me that he needs an operation and that he'll come to complet the deal in the new year. The person of course would not of let the first ornaments go if she had known that he was going to lead her on. There are always ways to keep your promise when you make a deal, especially when dealing with an aged person. I'm not saying that this man is not ill i'm only saying that he goes off on holiday instead of keeping his professionnel promises.

Attended the store with 2 gold Coins a 1/4 dunkirk 2 gram quarter sovereign and a 1/10 krugerand 3.3 grams, that's 5.3grams and u offered me £150 around 6 weeks ago. That's £30 a gram citing that they will only scrap the coins, and this was said over a glass counter with several gold coins priced at retail, I feel lied to as they clearly do not scrap the gold Coins..

Vernon was a great help he put his time and a lot of effort in finding a buyer for a collection of clocks I had for sale, no commission, he did it all in his own time. What a wonderful guy he is. Needed to sell some items,and both the lady and Paul very helpful.advise us of where we could sell items that they wouldn't be able to with them,did by a item from us.which we are very grateful,you don't know how much it helped but did.sad to see item go but it gone to a shop that look after the stuff they sell.Also have to say they have really lovely items well worth a look around little treasure trove.Thankyou you both for your help today.

I have visited Eastbourne Antique Centre on several occasions. I have sold items to the owner and I have been very pleased with the prices offered. The owner knows his stuff and offers an honest appraisal of items. The atmosphere in the shop is relaxed and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending the shop and I intend visiting again very soon. The service really is first class.

I have always found the staff there to be very pleasant and always helpful. The place is secure and the owners will always keep you informed even after the shop is closed. Excellent position and very pleased with my visits there. Keep up the good work!
