Restaurant at Loch Melfort Hotel
We happened her completely by chance- sort of ;) we were on a mission to find some Highland Coos before leaving Scotland and we were thrilled to meet their herd! The view from the restaurant was just gorgeous (coos included) and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. I had a salad and admittedly it did feel a bit small for the price, but it was very very good and the coffee was great.

Had a light lunch here. This hotel is in the most beautiful setting looking straight out over Loch Melfort. A good location for either a few days complete relaxation as it is so peaceful sitting in the lounge or in the gardens overlooking the Loch. Or if you are keen walkers it is also a good base.

We stopped on our way along the coast more by accident, as we were looking for a view point to enjoy the amazing landscape. And what a surprise: A little gem, inviting you for a coffee and a cake in the most beautiful place.Great view, tasty cake and nice service.We were spoilt by the weather, but there are plenty of tables inside, with the same great view.

I've stopped here a few times, excellent service, delicious food and a short beach walk with access from the garden. Well worth a visit!
