Black Country Living Museum
Absolutely fantastic, you need more than a day to see and explore everywhere,Mine tour, nail and chain making, 2 pubs (open for business) a fish and chip shop, sweets, bakery, pies all available to purchase, shops and houses to enter and explore, school lessons, talks on the chain strike of 1910, a park, picnic areas, bus rides, vintage cars, so much to see and do,Staff in period costume, all with a vast knowledge of the time frame they are working in.Richard is an asset to them he spent time telling us loads about the local area as well as the history of the museum, he is an incredibly interesting man (look out for him)There's more to come they are opening more buildings in 2024 we will definitely be returningthere is wheelchair parking and entrance, the only thing I can remember not being accessible is the mine, due to low very uneven tunnelsParking is £3.50 we booked a hotel for a few days it was less than 2 minutes walk from there.
