Owlpen Manor Weddings and Events

We got married at the gorgeous Owlpen Manor on the 25th of October and it was just heaven. The team are friendly and so caring, in the lead up and on our wedding day itself they made you feel like part of a family and that your wedding day mattered. It is the most beautiful, hidden away area of the Cotswolds (which does mean its remote and a little challenging to get there) and I can honestly say for us it was the prefect place to get married. If you're looking for a stunning venue, secluded in the gorgeous countryside, with great gardens for pictures and picturesque cottages for your guests to stay in, a friendly and professional team who make you feel like a priority and that nothing is too much trouble, then Owlpen is the place for you. Words can't describe how perfect our wedding day was, and I can safely say that was pretty much due to super stars like Bella who coordinated our day, and to the whole team for being the warm, fun bunch they are.Stunning venue, brilliant people.

What we loved most about the venue for our wedding is that you could have it for the whole weekend, really took away any stress from the occasion, particularly as we live overseas.Bella was incredibly organized and accommodating, again this was a big plus that they were happy to be flexible with any requests and also gave us plenty of useful suggestions and “have you thought ofs” for areas to use, photos and dessert wine.The day itself was faultless thanks to Bella & Theo, no stress whatsoever, we had so many compliments about the venue, grounds, service and professionalism of the team (particularly that they kept the champagne flowing during the drinks & canapé reception).Can’t recommend this venue enough, the building, grounds & accommodation have so much character, we had around 30 guests on site all weekend, had a catered, close family event on the Friday night and breakfast Sunday morning. There’s even a swimming lake which the groom party used to great effect on the morning of the wedding.

We held my daughter’s wedding at Owlpen in July. We cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful venue. We loved the fact that we had exclusive use of the venue and all 25 guest cottages in 250 acres of the most stunning Cotswolds countryside from Friday morning through to Sunday lunch. This allowed family and the bridal party to stay on site and to make it a wedding weekend and spend time with each other.Bella and Tonia, the on-site wedding planners made life very easy for us with excellent communication and organisation both before and on the event. The service from the whole team was fantastic- so friendly, welcoming and efficient.We planned a garden wedding with the back up of the Cider barn in case of bad weather. It poured down for most of Saturday, but incredibly we loved the cosy, fairy lit, romantic atmosphere of the barn even more.Our recommended florist and photographer who know the venue did a fabulous job, and Marcus managed to whip us all out in the only dry hour to get some lovely photos in the beautiful grounds.Thank you all for such a magical and memorable weekend.

Wedding venue.(July) Truly stunning venue and grounds. Managers Bella and Luke and staff couldn't have been more helpful or accomodating. Really did everything they could to help us. Special day topped off with a brilliant package. Cottages were very rustic but starting to show slight age..nothing big to note though.

If you are thinking of having your wedding here- just do it! We booked Owlpen and all its cottages for 3 nights for our wedding in June 2023 and also booked glamping on its lower lawn by the ponds. During the planning Hugo, Bella and Tonia were so responsive and helpful, continuously coming up with ideas and suggestions for how we could use the whole property come rain or shine. They were fun to work with and made all our suggestions work from Friday night legal ceremony, drinks and BBQ, to the big wedding on Saturday to yoga, picnic, swimming and even a cinema night in the Cyder Barn on the Sunday. They honestly just took all our ideas and just let us make their home our own, it felt like they were there to give us our dream wedding rather than a venue that just hosts people back to back and is less personal. So many of our guests on the day commented on how amazing the staff were, the waiters even came and took my flowers to put them in a vase for photos and I think was purely dedicated to topping up my Prosecco! The caterers they work with, Well Seasoned Catering, were completely delicious (and they supplied 6 meals for varying numbers of people over the weekend!! Every meal being incredible!!) We’ve been to many weddings and venues and felt that what Owlpen succeeds in that is so unique is that they focus on the personal experience, you feel like you and your guests have the whole property just for yourselves and you’re not rushed about or told no, there’s no conveyor belt here!! And I haven’t even mentioned how beautiful the house is, the ground, the summer gardens, the many fountains they have, the little country roads and the beautiful country cottages on site… It was a completely wonderful venue and family and we would highly recommend to EVERYONE we talk to!!

I don’t think I have the words to describe how perfect our wedding was at Owlpen. Not only is the setting just beyond beautiful, and you get to have all your guests stay on site, but everyone who works there is so friendly and relaxed - I found it impossible to get stressed about anything. The drinks flowed, everyone was rocking and having the best time ever. I really hope I get to have another celebration there at some point. I also think they’ve tricked me into thinking I could be a wedding planner because they were so helpful and responsive with any questions I had along the way - the whole thing was so easy to plan!

I attended a wedding at Owlpen and it was such a fantastic venue! The setting is beautiful, the cottage accommodation was comfortable and charming, and the whole wedding ran extremely smoothly.We're already thinking of going back in the future for a holiday stay so that we can enjoy the scenery and do some walks which we didn't have time for while the wedding was going on.

It's very beautiful. The cottages are well equipped . Ours had a large fridge freezer, washing machine. Dishwasher. Kitchen has a dining area great for children to eat at. It also had a large separate dining room. The scenery was beautiful there were pheasants everywhere when we were there. Ideal for a walking holiday. I was there for a wedding. Not so suitable for elderly people. Only because paths and road is unmade and difficult to walk on. But for families and young people would highly recommend.

We had a short break in one of the cottages, which was warm and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. The member of staff we met when we arrived was friendly and welcoming. The estate is beautiful, with lots of walks through woodlands and fields, for which you will need strong walking boots or wellington boots, as it was quite muddy when we went. Although it is only a short distance from the village of Uley it feels like you are inanother world. A lovely place to stay.

We have just held our wedding at Owlpen Manor and it was the best experience of my life. The team are all absolutely incredible, they are all so, so thoughtful and kind. I wasn’t expecting for them to be so hands on and took all the worry and stress out of the day. They calmed me down when I was nervously waiting to walk down the aisle, dealt with all the things that needed to be done to make it a smooth and enjoyable experience. It was the best 2 days of my life. Owlpen is a truly magical place. We had the place to ourselves and what with the attention to detail from the team, it felt so personalised unlike big hotels where they are wedding factories. The team at Owlpen were invested in making our day as special as it could be.What with a stunning venue, an outstanding team, getting married at Owlpen was an incredible experience and one we will never forget.
