Edin’s Hall Broch Car Park

Only 3 spaces in a small layby so difficult to turn if it's full when you arrive. We managed to get a space but definitely have a backup plan for parking in case you arrive and it's full!

Easy to get to however it is quite small, for 4-5 cars . Arrive early to guarantee a space.

Visited here with family for the first time. The car parking area is very limited to about 4-5 vehicles. The directions to find the walking route really needs upgrading as well as the need for a more formal path to separate walkers from live stock. The broch is mostly intact showing an era of life over 2 thousand years old. Its pleasantly surprising how much there is to explore considering the time thsts passed. If your walking is limited then scaling the climb up the hill is probably impossible. But I made it with a struggle but I thoroughly recommend the experience.

Truly the most exceptional car park I have ever visited. Highly recommended. Will be back!

Beautiful walk with varied and interesting terrain ranging from forest to river rapids, gentle fields and high moorland with an ancient hill fort as a destination.
