Always pleasant staff, good food at a good price. Good sized potions and cooked to order. Wish they stayed open longer hours. Staff always friendly to my mum in her electric wheelchair.

This place deserves to be visited.Went for late breakfast Mondayabout 10.30 ish.Only two staff on by the looks of things but served really quickly.Caution: cash only, at least on the day we went.Full English and drink £6.something 2 slices toast and a choice of the different ways you can have full English too.Cheese and mushroom omelette - ordinarily with chips and salad - happy to sub me with a portion of baked beans £4.somethingThe best omelette I’ve had in 20 years.Freshly cooked and absolutely piping hot.Entry and floor is one level. Plenty of room for a wheelchair if needed.This is what Newark is missing, a good old fashioned caff serving quality food and drinks.Will definitely be back to sample other dishes on the menu eg jacket potatoes with all fillings catered, salads, spotted a chip cob, and plenty of choice for vegetarians and at least two suitable for vegan customers.Why not 5*? I didn’t see a toilet facility, although there is sanitiser on a table.

It was a rainy day and I happened to come across this gem of a place. Fantastic decor, owner and of course the food. Very reasonably priced! I think I may go to Newark again just to visit this place.

Been several times.should have learned my lesson by now. Nothing ever promulgated but they won't accept a payment cardVery embarrassing having eaten the meal and I don't carry cash.. must be on the cash fiddle.Pleasant staff, food a bit greasy spoon".Won't go again."
