Outstanding!Rather than pay for 2nd class food at Ripon Races I searched for good food nearby.Top of the list was the Lead Lane Fisheries.I will be back!Fish and chips was the order of the day.I ordered large chips. They understood this as ENORMOUS, it would feed the jockey and the horse.The fish would rate as some of the best ever, flaked beautifully, white firm.Superb.

We’ve found our favourite chip shop! Amazing portion sizes, good value for money, very friendly staff, the foods always very tasty and fresh and they even gave us some scolops for free with our lunch! Also has good parking :)

We had this chippy recommended and it didn't disappoint. Amazing menu, big portions but most importantly absolutely delicious! Very reasonable prices too.

I've tried every Chippy in Ripon and Lead Lane is by far the best.The portion sizes are huge, you want go hungry with Lead Lane Fisheries, They're the best in Ripon.

Ordered hot pizza with pepperoni instead of chicken, a pepperoni and a garlic bread with cheese. Pizzas excellent but the garlic bread was burnt and cheesless... what a shame as its my sons favourite bit and he couldn't eat it...

We went for tea tonight the staff we great and very friendly we got two fish and one portion of chips the portions were huge. Could of fed all the grandkids too.great value for money. Not been for a lot of year but definitely will be calling again.

Visiting fr county Durham on holiday I would highly recommend this chip shop the food was absolutely fantastic good portions, definitely will use them again.
