Fantastic location, amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Best value for money in Bradford in my opinion. Would certainly recommend it.

I would highly recommend for students for accommodation. 5-8 minutes walk to the university. Very clean and serene.

This is one student accommodation I will recommend for anyone temporarily staying in Bradford. The scenery of the place is beautiful especially in winter and spring/summer.The staff are lovely and informative.I definitely agree with comments, you get a great value for your money plus the location is convenient. It tends to be pretty peaceful which is very much appreciated by many.

I stayed at Doris when I was doing my masters degree. I was so stressed out about finding good accomodation online. I contacted Unipol administration as they had good reviews. All the rooms were already occupied but after a week I got an e-mail with the information that there was one room available as one of the students chose to go to another university and not BD. I was lucky to have the biggest room, and bathroom. The rooms are clean and there is plenty space to make it home by decorating the way you want. In terms of price, it is cheaper than the Green but the same conditions. I would say even better as the rooms at Doris are en suit, so although you are sharing the flat with other people you have your own space.Even before my arrival, Jo, who is a lovely lady and works for Unipol/Doris has been super nice and helpful from the very beginning. I have exchanged a few e-mails with her before I signed my contracts and was not worried at all anymore. On my first day of arrival, she came with me to do basic grocery shopping before I go to do the main shopping for my room and kitchen. I moved out on June 26 and apparently I forgot my jewelry and kindle. When I informed Jo, she took them during the inspection and posted to me to London. Thank you Jo for being such an amazing person and putting efforts to make our stay in BD as confortable as possible. I have only positive memories from Doris! And I have also acquired friends for life.There is an outdoor space I enjoyed studying during summer and it made the lockdown period easier. And beautiful cherry blossom. The accomodation is lovely, and it will depend on you and your flatmates whether your stay is going to be positive or not. As everywhere else.

It's a great place to live.Decent, quiet, all inclusive and very close to City centre and other city amenities.

Lived here for 2 years and they were the best 2 years I had in uni. Recently moved out and I miss it dearly. Great distance from the uni, college, town, train stations and shops. I got a lot of value for my money; good sized rooms and spacious, modern kitchen. Really good place to live temporarily and for long stays. Any problems were dealt with very efficiently and staff are amazing.

I can say that Doris Birdsall is the best student accommodation in Bradford. I have lived in Doris Birdsall Hall for three years now and I do not regret it. The value for money is incredible: your own room, en suite and a modern shared kitchen for only £90 per week! As well ALL BILLS INCLUDED and Wi-Fi!It is a walking distance away from town which is perfect for shopping or groceries. Also it is 15 minutes walk from the train station allowing easy transport!Being a gated community it is also safe and secure for any parents worrying about their children and a reassurance that no one will follow them into the accommodation as keys are required for access.Additionally the staff are lovely, kind and approachable, so if you have any problems you can always go to them and get it sorted. I wholeheartedly recommend Doris for any and all students looking for accommodation.
