Kumon Maths & English

My son started kumon when he was 4.5 years when Mr and Mrs Gillett supporting his growth. At that stage he didn’t know how to hold pencil and soon enough along with number sequence he also learnt to colour properly and hold pencil the right way.We enrolled him to english when we started to see progress on maths. Kumon increased his focus and made numbers more familiarised. Although it might seem repetitive I could see the reason eventually as i saw my son quickly remembering numbers what comes without even thinking. Sometimes he gets playful but still writes down the numbers . Along side with school curriculum if we keep kumon i think it makes a good combination to strengthen basics.Although he always took dips and dives in interest , as and when he saw new work books his enthusiasm increased. At times where he felt demotivated especially on maths , Rashi supported him through with new ideas and lots of motivation by giving appreciation and working through his way. I have seen great progress since he started going to centre since lockdown was relaxed. I also see kumon teachers during the week helping him through with lots of positivity.With busy lifestyle , we felt kumon has put both of us to a structure and set mind to have a sit down.English as I see now is quite challenging to keep his interest and gets him more practice on grammar :)I think with persistence and keeping kids get along i am sure kids do well on longer run! :)

I had the privilege of working as a tutor at Kumon for a one-month contract, and it was a transformative experience. Initially, I thought my role was solely about imparting knowledge, but it turned out to be much more. I learned the importance of adapting my teaching methods and embracing diverse learning styles. My children loves going to the centre because the tutors are friendly and helpful. Ms Rastogi really understands the children abilities, and gives a very useful and important academic advise for their progress and always there to help.

Kumon has really helped my son. He started Kumon a few months ago, not able to grip a pencil. He is in foundation!! Now he has gone from zero to a hundred. His classroom teacher can't believe the vast improvement but it's the magic of Kumon. I would definitely recommend Kumon. It worked magic for us.

We started Kumon for my son and he’s shown massive improvement on his focus and he loves doing the books. Boost his confidence massively and he’s a happy chappy. Rashi is so good with him too and she’s so approachable!

Kumon is excellent. Even though we might find it difficult to manage in initial days, it gets better in the long run. Kids learn a lot by repetitive work sheets. And moreover we can see what our kids are learning and how they are working it out. Or instructor is excellent and easy to communicate with.

My children actually look forward to attending Kumon and working through the app/website.The staff (Rashi) has been outstanding in her approach, having seen this first hand I was immensely reassured of the genuine care and attention being provided.Feedback for the app - please can the study sheets include the date to make clear the child is working the correct days sheet.
