Haarlem Mill Weddings & Events

My wife and I got married on 21st August at Haarlem Mill. From the moment we went for our first meeting with Shannon, we knew it'd be our perfect venue. Shannon went above and beyond anytime we needed anything at all, even on the wedding day itself! The venue is beautiful, the food is even better than you could imagine! If we could do it all over again we would and without a doubt we'd choose Haarlem Mill every time! Thank you Shannon and the entire team for making our day as perfect as we'd dreamt it would be. We had our wedding at Haarlem Mill in August 2018 and it was just perfect! The team were absolutely fantastic, we loved the relaxed feel of the place and its interior design. The pies were delicious and we have had so many comments about how good they were since our wedding. I was so impressed with how well they coped with all the dietary requirements on the day for over 120 people, it was completely seamless! We loved the outdoor space and the options of the upstairs and downstairs bar spaces also. I absolutely loved every aspect and wish I could do it all over again!

We got married in August 2023 at Haarlem Mill and it was a perfect venue.The mill is beautiful and really doesn't need decorating but we would recommend Tineke florals for gorgeous flowers!Shannon was a joy to work with and was so helpful and positive. All the staff on the day were very friendly and professional. Our guests commented on how relaxed the day felt and how delicious the food was (particularly the sticky toffee pudding!)Wirksworth is also a lovely place with lots of great accommodation for guests to stay in.

I was there for an art car boot sale. A wide variety of artists attended and there was something for everyone. I'd certainly go again.

My new wife & I got married at Haarlem Mill on 24/8. It was the most perfect day.From our initial meeting and numerous emails and visits to the final day everything was perfect.Shannon who looked after us was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble and she went above and beyond to make the day as special as it was, she really is a credit to the place.We visited for a sample evening where we got to try the food and also meet a few people who the Mill use. I would recommend Paul the Magician.On the day everything went perfect, all the staff were polite and very helpful, the food was amazing and the place looked stunning!! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place if anyone is looking at it. It really is fantastic.Thanks to Shannon and all the staff who made our day so special. Dan & Leanne x

Our wedding at Haarlem Mill, February 2023, was the most amazing day! The venue is beautifully rustic and relaxing, with stunning outside views, and the most gorgeous bridal prep suite❤️ Shannon and the team at Haarlem were brilliant from start to finish - nothing was too much trouble, and they really helped make our day the best it could be. The food was incredible, especially the pie! Haarlem Mill is such a special wedding venue - we wish we could relive our day all over again!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Haarlem Mill following a local church wedding, and everything went perfectly.The team at Haarlem were all so friendly and helpful, and Shannon was amazing throughout the planning process - she was always on hand to answer questions or offer advice, no matter how large or small.You can tell that Haarlem are passionate about supporting local suppliers and it is most definitely worthwhile - the food was INDREDIBLE, and the team all work so well alongside other suppliers (we didn't have to do a thing!).Haarlem Mill really is a hidden gem, and we'd wholeheartedly recommend the venue and team to anyone looking to organise a wedding or party.

As wedding photographers and videographers, we get to see a lot of standard venues and few rarely stand out - Haarlem Mill is not one of them! We will remember this venue with happy thoughts for a long time. Such a great venue with fabulous staff, scrumptious food and set in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire.
