St. Gilda's Roman Catholic Church : Rosneath

Looks a lovely little church with a big car space and beautiful views.

I attended Mass at St Gildas Roman Catholic Church in Rosneath on the Rosneath Peninsula and it was a most enjoyable experience.Mass at St Gildas is at 10am on a Sunday.There is a midweek mass this Tuesday 4th February at 10am which I am going to be attending.There is a car park to park your car.You enter the church through the brown doors on the corner of the church.There are two sets of brown doors.If the doors appear to be locked they are not and one set of doors will be open.St Gildas is a good sized church and there is plenty of setting inside.The Mass was conducted by Father Michael Maloney who conducted the Mass in a spiritual and professional manner with a few light hearted moments thrown in.The attendance at Mass was good given the inhospitable weather outside.Father Maloney also covers St Mahew's Roman Catholic Church in Cardross and SS St Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Arrochar and has responsibility for Faslane Naval Base.After Mass I had a couple of cups of tea with a group of parishioners of the Church.We discussed the situation of the Roman Catholic Church in this area of West Scotland;hotels in the area to stay in; inter church relations between the Church of Scotland and the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland and the weather!They were a lovely group of people.I would recommend a visit to St Gildas Roman Catholic Church in Rosneath on the Rosneath Peninsula in Scotland.
