Film Crew 4u CIC collaborated with DTMP to deliver an incredible 7 week programme for our SEN students at Great Oaks College. Billy and Kate connected with students brilliantly and worked with individuals to develop their ideas and create fun and personalised pieces of work. It was an absolute pleasure to have them work with us and offer our students an experience they will never forget.

I work with Portsmouth City Council to prevent crime including knife crime and hate crime. I worked with Billy at Film Crew 4U on a Home Office funded film project in May/June 2021 to produce a series of films which aim to engage young people on these serious issues.It was a pleasure to work with Billy who was very professional but also extremely creative and appreciative of the serious nature of the subject, whilst providing opportunities for lightness.Billy was excellent to work with and I am very proud of the finished films which have been viewed by Government in Whitehall as well as by local teachers - all of whom are impressed by their professional finish but also the engaging nature of the work.Well done to Billy and I highly recommend his work.This week I am using the finished films to deliver to 200+ Portsmouth teenagers... and with knife crime & hate crime rising fast, these films needed to be good.David Knowles,Community Coordinator, Crime Prevention,Portsmouth City Council

Billy’s FilmCrew4U CIC was not the first videographer I approached, to showcase my work in concise video essays to present SouthSeaEyes lino printing workshops.As background, the workshop is as a form of recovery activity emerging from lockdowns, engaging the slow-brain function and hand-wroughting, focusing on creative expressions through carving a lino block, and hand-printing it.Specifically, it was Billy’s personal engagement and professional fine-tuned sensitivities towards my work, methods and processes in the workshops, which made the role his.At all instances of filming, Billy’s approach has been supportive, receptive of personal space needs, and being acutely aware of the ambient requirements. Working with Film Crew 4u CIC was such an amazingly positive experience. They totally understood the remit, and filmed accordingly. My social enterprise is called Rural Mental Health Matters and we focus on ensuring that access to support for mental and physical health is more accessible, inclusive, visible and equitable. The crew and Billy were absolutely outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to hire them again!
