Red Onion Garden Café
For unique and delicious dining, it doesn't get better than this!I love this place.I love sitting in the large polytunnel, you can enjoy birds and butterflies flitting around as you eat delicious food that was grown mere metres away.A truly shining example of a sustainable and forward-thinking business!The staff are always attentive, cheerful and professional.The food is incredible and varied, the menu changes as different fruits and vegetables are harvested.For visiting vegetarians and vegans especially this is a must!They also have an excellent selection of drinksI particularly enjoyed the ginger, cinnamon and maple hot toddy!For a dining experience that is closer to a mindfulness meditation you simply must visit!

This place has the most beautiful environment to enjoy there incredible food in!Everything from the lunches to there mouth watering cakes, is to die for Service was amazing too :) I cant believe just how much they grown themselves for the menu and I love that its all seasonal and local produce. Oh and they have cocktails!

If I could give more than 5 stars for customer service, I would give a million! This place has the most caring and kind staff I’ve ever encountered. Kieran is absolutely incredible. The food is absolutely delicious and the people are amazing

This is a great place for home grown and locally sourced products in their food.Lots of herbal tea options prepared from their own grown herbs, simply fantastic.The food menu is simple but the food is so delicious and very well priced.The service is very friendly and attentative, the atmosphere is fantastic, whether your inside or in the garden area... so relaxing

Went with my boyfriend to celebrate graduating from university and had the BEST lunch! Food was delicious, we sat outside in the gorgeous gardens and left stuffed!! Definitely recommend the hot chocolate and the bubble and squeak. Not to mention the staff are incredible, Kat was wonderful and suggested we try the shortbread, we were not disappointed!

The Red Onion Garden Cafe hosted my sons wedding celebration. The overall experience was outstanding, all the quests commented on how delicious the food was. The staff went out of their way to make the occasion run smoothly and were polite and very friendly. Highly recommend for either a private function or a lovely lunch.

Red Onion Garden Café
We stumbled across this gorgeous garden cafe, serving home grown and local fresh produce, a few months back. Wow! what a find! It was delightful, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted with a huge smile, offered a choice of seating areas, both indoor and outdoor. We sat outside in their greenhouse area, it’s beautiful with lots of plants everywhere. My mother is vegan, so to find tasty food options can be challenging when visiting a new area, yet the food we were served was out of this world, and all local or grown in their own garden. It was refreshing, tasty and beautifully presented. We can’t recommend the place enough. 10 out of 10!

Great coffees. Good food and a lovely setting. Seating outside in the polytunnel is a good way to feel 'outside' but warm.Good local produce and it's popular with locals and tourists/visitors alike.Sidenote, they do some wonderful themed food evenings, worth keeping an eye on.

Red Onion Garden Café
Lovely little cafe for lunch. Has indoor seating or outdoor in a big polytunnel type area which was full of beautiful flowers and really lovely to be in. The food was delicious, a smaller portion that leaves room for cake but very tasty! I had the Earth bowl (which I believe changes according to what’s in season) with added marinated tofu and it was delicious, as was the homemade elderflower cordial. I will be back to try the other options on the menu as well as the cakes. Staff were also very friendly and overall it was excellent service. Highly recommended for vegans and non-vegans alike.
