An idyllic spot! Beautiful setting, all amenities, super clean loos and showers. Great for fishing, dog walkers or just getting away from it all. Campsite is easy to find and lovely level pitches too! Added bonus of an orchard full of free-range hens and local produce available to buy on site.

Nice and quiet park which suited our need for a single night stay near Oldfield forge. Very much a fishing site, not something for us but this did ensure it was peaceful and the lake was attractive. We didn’t see the hosts and paid through an honesty system which always feels weird but good to be trusted!

Very well kept lakes and toilets are super clean, car parking is close to lakes and excellent walkways, top lake is nicely presented with plenty of swims, the specimen lake is a let down, it has far too many small fish in it to qualify as a specimen lake with fish from way under a pound and so many of them, needs to be netted and more larger fish need to be added. If there was a good stock of bigger fish I would pay more for a day ticket. But I would visit again as it makes a good day's fishing with a float rod and light tackle. Shame about the specimen lake tho.

We stayed at this lovely little campsite for 2 nights. It has WiFi, which is very good, and you will definitely need to use it because the mobile signal is pretty much non-existent.The toilet and shower facilities are very clean too. If you visit here, get yourself over to The Skirrid Inn, the oldest pub in Wales, and it has beautiful views from the beer garden at the rear.

A lovely, quiet, peaceful site. I had a friendly welcome when I turned up in the evening on spec and the man was very helpful with suggestions of where to eat. I wasn't fishing but it was very pleasant to stroll around the lakes, listening to the birds and the occasional plop of fish rising. A very relaxing place to spend some time.

Very well looked after and maintained, good dog walks and local amenities, pitches have plenty of room and easy to get to via road and no narrow lanes , close to Ross and not far to Hereford, habe been coming for 5 years and intend on going fpr future years

A tranquil for campers and caravaners with the added treat of some of the best carp lakes around. All run by a welcoming and friendly family. We loved the on site toilet and washroom facilities. A must for a relaxing break.
