Fantastic service and a great chat. A very knowledgable chap with no prejudice about gear. Helped me understand my guitar and provide comparisons. Friendly with other customers, a great shop with a lot of supplies that aren’t too high priced, in a great location opposite RPM records.

Spent an hour or so at this shop on Thursday looking for my perfect guitar. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the just right" one. The guy in the shop was exceptionally helpful and seamed to latch on to what I was looking for and gave me quite a few guitars to try and he also demonstrated some of them with some lovely guitar playing. I would recommend this shop to at least have a look

The guitar shop was recommended to me by others who had used their services. Called with my mandolin which needed attention and was poorly set up. Brian explained what the problems were and what he could offer. Returned same day to receive mandolin sounding absolutely brilliant. Received breakdown on what work had been carried out. Professional set up, expertly carried out all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I very rarely leave reviews of shops, businesses etc, but this place definately deserves one.I had recently bought a new electric guitar, it wasnt set up very well so i took it back to the shop i had bought it from and told them what i thought needed adjusting. No problem they said....they phoned me literally an hour later to say the guitar was all sorted and was ready to pick up. It was even worse!On the advice of a friend i took the guitar to The Guitar Shop for a set up. Brian was great, he explained what was wrong with the set up, and what he could do to sort it. I left it with him on a wednesday, and he said it would be ready to collect friday, and gave me a price i was VERY happy with.What a difference!The guitar is absolutely perfect now. I could see the difference in the action before i even played a note!I would highly recommend The Guitar Shop, Brian certainly knows what his stuff, and a really nice bloke as well.

Had pickup replaced in telecaster. Service was swift and the guitar now sounds great. Also the advice given by Brian on how to deal with feedback on stage, and minimising hum/noise has been very helpful. Would highly recommend the guitar shop for expert advice and repairs.
