Tracy has been cutting my hair for years and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Highly personal and attentive business that makes your hairdressing experience feel like seeing a friend or family member rather than being corporate or retail feeling. Tracy will always listen to what I want and be willing to advise me on new styles etc. Great affordable prices too!

I came here for highlights and a toning treatment and unfortunately was very upset with the result. The highlights were very far from the root, there were lots of patches missing around the front of my face and pieces where the highlight lines were very harsh, chunky and visible. The toning was also quite yellow at the top of my head.Sadly, because I felt that the job was not a good one I didn’t feel like I wanted to return to the salon for them to fix it. I wanted to go somewhere else. But I thought they should know about what had happened and how upset I was to ensure this didn’t happen to another customer.I spoke to the owner about it, and did not get a very good response despite the fact that I was very polite, reasonable and even apologetic about the fact that I wasn’t happy.She wanted the opportunity to fix it and wasn’t pleased that I didn’t want them to, which I understand. But she then said several times that if I wanted a refund she would need to get her legal team involved which I felt was an over dramatic scaremongering technique. I said that I didn’t expect an entire refund but a partial refund as a goodwill gesture would be nice.She offered £20. I paid £110 for the whole thing so it was pretty insulting but I accepted it because I knew I wouldn’t get anything better. She wasn’t apologetic in the slightest, I actually said sorry more times than she did even though I had done nothing wrong.I went to a different hairdresser to get it fixed and confessed to them where I had been for the highlights. The new hairdresser said that I was the fourth customer who had come to her with highlights that needed fixing from Elite.I’m sad that I didn’t like my hair because the stylist was a lovely person who gave nice service. The salon owner however was shockingly rude and in denial that my hair had not been done well, so don’t expect anything better if you go to Elite for highlights because no lesson was learned from my complaint.

Can't fault them at all! I took my daughter for her first ever hair cut and they were so friendly, chatty and just all round lovely!!

From the first time I went to Elite Design & Cut I was made very welcome by the owner Tracy and staff and made to feel very special. This was not a one off, I have the same treatment each time I have an appointment, always very obliging. I had my hair cut to a style that suited me and my face, so well pleased as it stays in shape from one appointment to the next. Would not go anywhere else as previous ones did not shine as this salon does or make me feel I wanted to keep going back. Tracy thank you for you kindness care and the best haircut ever!

There is no words to express how delighted I am to have zoe has my stylist, she's simply amazing. I wouldn't change her for the world, I trust her with my hair implicitly. Thank you zoe & thanks to Tracy also.

As a regular at Elite Design & Cut, I am always delighted by this amazing local salon and the wonderful staff. My normal stylist is owner Tracey, however, as Tracey was on holiday Zoe did my hair, this month, root colour, low lights and a trim, she did an amazing job, thank you Zoe and thanks to all the team!

Always a warm welcome and a stylist who listens to your requirements and can also suggest new ideas. Would definitely recommend
