We had a friendly match today between Walmer & Kingsdown GC & Etchinghill GC and we’re made very welcome.The club Manager Mr Wheeler came and spoke to us and asked us about our event for today it was really nice he was interested and very friendly.We had breakfast (16) which was simply fantastic hot, freshly cooked and good quality.The young lady serving was very pleasant and nothing was any trouble making sure the breakfast went well.Club Pro was also attentive advising the group of course changes that had taken place over recent weeks & months.We are looking forward to booking our re-match in August 2022For those interested the match today was halvedThank youWG&BGC

Quirky links style course, well maintained and always open. Friendly pro shop, catering and bar. No par 5s but no pushover either. Recommended seaside course

Club house and hospitality goodCourse needs lot of work. Greens hairy and bumpy.

Lovely golf course in pristine condition. No long grass and very tidy. Course not too difficult and quite flat for us oldie's. Lovely views around the Thanet coast line. Nice garden area around the 15 tee. Very friendly members and a nice relaxed atmosphere at the clubhouse. Booked in for a fortnight's time we enjoyed it so much.

Nice friendly golf club with main parking on a quiet side road. The club house has a certain charm and nostalgia about it. The course is a series of parallel holes and crosses over a road. There are parts of the course near the sea front where if the wind blows could be interesting" for the novice. The course itself is in reasonable condition.If going for the first time use a directions aid

It has taken me a long time to write this review of my experience at the W&B GC, but I feel it is important to make others aware of this.7 weeks ago I enjoyed a fantastic day out with more than 15 gentlemen. I found the course brilliant, very creative with some of the best views ever seen. Immediately, on the day, I purchased a club tie and made a booking for a future golf day (2 days) in later July, only to be completely disappointed.My reasons for giving the place a 1 star review (would love to give it a zero) is because of how I was treated with my group. Below are my reasons:1. Visit one: after purchasing an electric trolley, I ended my game and then found my personal bag just chucked on the floor and the trolley taken. I had just finished playing and went to the toilet.2. Visit two, day one: upon arrival and wanting to start playing, we had to wait MORE THAN 10mins for the Golf Pro to finish a phone conversation. Whilst on the phone, we were completely ignored and when he ended the call, the last sentence was, When you come in tomorrow we can sought it!" So there was no reason to keep us waiting so long

We had a society day there, it was a lovely winters day, the breakfast was great, the chef very accommodating and staff were lovely.The course was in tip top condition with fast smooth greens and the fairways weren't boggy or muddy like some of the East Kent courses currently are.A brilliant high scoring day had by all including a hole in 1 from one of our members!

I am quite new to golf and love this course. The people in the pro shop are invariably friendly. The course is quite short , very well maintained and not too tight. Ideal for me!! Different format for many holes and the greens are very good. If you are playing badly then you can enjoy sea views once you reach the sixth!!

Great Course, green had been aired and the 17th was a little worse for wear.Pro shop friendly, Chef & Bar staff amazing.Can’t wait to play again when the greens are a little more loved
