Brandon Hire Station

My first experience with Brandon Hire and the service was beyond my expectation. I hired some equipments which I never used before and the staff were very helpful and gave me the best advice. The transformer was faulty, so had to swap it, however I was offered a full refund which was great. Highly recommend this store.Special thanks to Dave the manager and his team who was very helpful and great customer service. Keep it up guys. And many Thanks.

Booked a chipper for a days hire, the chipper arrived at mid day on a Friday. This was pretty late in the day so I gave them a ring to explain that I didn't have time to finish the job in the 4 hours I had remaining. The guy on the phone was rude and clearly not listening, after explaining that I didn't have time to finish the job with the time left he assured me that they'd pick it up Monday. I returned to the job on Saturday at 11am to finish up, the chipper had been taken before I got there. I then rang up to ask what had happened. The same guy as before had clearly not listened and decided that he wanted to pick it up on Saturday after all because he'd be out of pocket. Well I am now 130 quid out of pocket for the chipper and 200 quid out of pocket for the days work, and all because this guy clearly couldn't be bothered to pay attention to customers phone call on a Friday afternoon. I'm not even mad about the chipper being dropped off at mid day and picked up at 10.30am the next day (not even 24 hours) I'm mad because I was told that I would have the chipper till Monday organised my schedule around that agreement. Rude. Unapologetic. And completely incompetent.

Helped me out massively today when I needed to hire a ladder for emergency gutter repair. Dave Chapman could not have been more helpful at short notice.I'll definitely be back and will be recommending to my friends.Thanks again Dave!

This brunch has been very useful, great value on many tools you need and good delivery schedule as well as drivers. Desk is pelite and open to options prior ordering, explaining what’s best that you need for the job you may be doing. so makes it a bit easier what works for you then rather then just trying to make a sale there and then.. Friendly and helpful as always. Thank you AM General Building.

Worth being aware: I booked and paid by phone through national number. 15% damage waiver was added before VAT to my order but not mentioned.Price is still fair but you will pay 15% + vat over your agreed price - annoying.
