Absolutely love my hair colour. Nico hit the brief perfectly. 10/10 service and the best balayage I have ever had! Would only recommend Shades now. Particularly for any colour needs you have. Lovely and friendly team. Best salon in London!

This is the best place hands down to get your stuff done, I got my hair bleached and toned from dark brown to platinum blonde by Nikki and the results were absolutely stunning. My hair is healthy and the colour has held up well!Also had a gents trim from Nico, one of the best haircuts I've ever received and it was just a trim. These people are super knowledgable, friendly and skilled I would not go anywhere else for your hair.

Nico isn’t only my hair stylist but he become a friend. His level of attention to detail makes his work sound dead cheap compared to what you can get in London. I’ve tried many ppl in London over 10 years and I’m not joking when I say, I’d rather commute 1 hr to see him than cut my hair by anyone else.

Had a haircut and highlights done at Shades with Nico. I have never had highlights or colour applied before but I was impressed with the advice given and the shade selected which alleviated any concerns. Its called shades for a reason - they are experts in colouring. The cut was perfect and the highlights amazing. The service is friendly and professional and I have since become a regular client.

Had my wedding hair done by Klaudia and I was so happy with how kind she was through the whole process, both for the run through and then when she came to my house (very early!) to get it done on the day. I wanted something pretty simple, that would play up my purple hair and go with the rest of the outfit and she did just that. Very happy with it and how it stayed the whole day!

Not often moved to share reviews but I just wanted to thank Sam at Shades for the most beautiful haircut and style tonight. She really went above and beyond. This is a great place - they know what they're doing!

I have been going to Shades many years and find it fantastic local hair salon, always happy to listen to your needs. Have never come away dissatisfied. Can recommend highly. Thoroughly enjoy my time in the salon. I therefore write having just made an appointment for tomorrow. The owner Nico was beside himself as there appears to be a fake review from someone called Noa Dekal. They have never met this person or given the treatments that are being alluded to. Someone is trying to destroy a business probably another hairdresser in the area. Google suggest that you remove this review, unless it can be verified. You are complicit in allowing unsubstantiated comment and suggest you contact your legal department without delay. You cannot allow your name to be tarnished.
