Dessert Lab

Lovely little dessert place which has great bite size desserts if you don’t have a massive sweet tooth! Drinks could be better! This place is usually very quiet in the late afternoon, which is ideal as other places along the main stretch can be very loud and busy.

I just have to say Wow! Absolutely great experience. I went there for my birthday and I have to say the food and the service were top draw. Lovely and super helpful staff who able to help with my dairy and gluten free needs serving up amazing food with a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. I will DEFINITELY go there again.

The food is amazing. Probably the best chi tea latte I have ever had. I will definitely go again on my next trip to Birmingham UK.

Came in the evening with a friend and we both loved the place, staff were really friendly and choice of music was the best.

A nice family run dessert cafe which has a common theme menu, but food is well prepared and with flavour rather than. The ott bravado that some of these place do when serving dishes to make a look over substance statement.Polite, friendly and reasonable.Terry chocolate orange over a waffle was pretty nice.

Dessert lab is pretty average. It’s nothing that special compared to other dessert shops like jam jar and heavenly desserts. I went at a time when it was really quiet so we had the whole place to ourselves.On arrival we were given complementary wafer rolls with dipping sauce and jam which was a cute added bonus whilst we waited for our order to be made.We chose the Belgian waffle which you create by yourself, choosing your own sauce and toppings and ice cream etc. And it was warm when we received it which tasted nice. The strawberries didn’t taste very fresh but other than that it was okay.Overall, the price is quite expensive compared to other places with the food pretty average. I personally wouldn’t go again, and if I was to go again I’d order something else, not the waffle.

It wasn't busy when we arrived. The waitress was very polite and professional. She was attentive and provided us with water without us asking for it which was very nice. The menu is very limited. Although the desserts look good they are very basic and actually the most boring I've ever had. The donuts on Instagram looked fresh but they weren't. I wouldn't go back.
