Tarmac or solid paths to most areas. Off them gets very muddy with the slightest rain. Great river water access for dogs.

Beautiful place to go for a walk or cycle. Good to go we friends and family and have picnics. Able to see wildlife and nature. A nice relaxing place to be.

Lovely dog walking area, just be aware that if your dog goes in the water it will get extremly muddy !

It's amazing that we have lived in the area for many years but this is the first time I have visited this nature reserve. I walked to it from Town Quay in Newton Abbot. There is a tarmacadam pathway for a good length and a myriad footpaths through the marshes with little wooden bridges in certain places to cross streams. I walked in the height of summer when the paths were dry but I can imagine that you would need boots in the wet season. As usual inconsiderate cyclists can be a nuisance.

Great walk. Flat, clean and easy access. Bird life is fantastic with an added 'dog friendly' swim area. Highly recommend it

Nice easy walk for all the family and interesting sniffs for the dogs! History boards and information on the Templar Way.
