Super Handyman

I booked handyman through superhandyman.online. We made arrangements for Gary to attend Thursday to do the work. Unfortunately he travelled by bus which is not a problem, except its limiting to what tools can be carried by bus, missed the stop so my son picked him up. Very personable man, showed pictures of his work, but we quickly realised he did not have the tools for the job., so we rescheduled to the next day.The next day he did not turn up and didn't call, so I called him as my son was waiting in for him, he apologised and said he had been held up on another job, he meant to text earlier. So we rescheduled again to Monday, but I texted him on Sunday to confirm his attendance, no response to the text, the next day he did not attend. I called he said his mother was unwell, he would call later, he didn't call. It was weird he spent an hour at my home talking about the work and other works I had planned he sounded so keen, my son said in the car he expressed he really wanted to do a good job for us, we were even in my garden and he was selling me on building a shed via purchasing one online, this wasn't part of the job brief. I called the company superhandyman.online to feedback he was apologetic said they would investigate and offer me a resolution. The person on the phone sounded like a younger version of the person that visited so I suspect the company is a family member or closely associated not as professional organisation as I had hoped Alas ....there was no investigation, no resolution and in fact not even a call back. I wanted to feedback on their website but there is no review. The reviews on their site are static, not in real time..did I think they were real?, its something to be considered, look for reviews in real time. Reviews are our only way for us consumers to protect ourselves from unlicensed practioners who are time wasters, deliver poor quality or even dangerous work.
