Second Chance Kennels

No dogs to be rescued right now,is it because I have ah dog,3rd generation staff great with other dogs ,all pics and vids available.

I read the reviews as I’m looking to regime a dog prefera pup but I want to give a sog a second home as if I did not have my mhm and dad give up on me. This one reason I want a dog that’s no been treated correctly. as I have a big huge heart it has been broken since September 16th 2021 the day my daughter passed on. It’s going be 2 years this September past. My mother it was her idea she said it give me company and. Reason to get myself up and ready in mornings. As I have a big case with the nhs going on with what they did to my daughter I hope this won’t affect me from adopting and caring for A dog i have a front and back garden. I have enough money to take care of its needs thanks. Leanne Stocks

I have rehomed about 5 dogs from the lovely Ena&Frank Tina ,Tanya ,Tara ,Timmy and Buddy that I have still have with me and would recommend them to all I know that loves dogs and I would still adopt and rescue any that Ena knows I would love

Very disappointed! They were friendly when there and got me to fill in a form saying they would do a home visit. Never turned up or phoned. Dog owner for 40 years and love dogs Open fields, no livestock around yet refused as I don t have a fence up! The dog would have had a great life and plenty of walks and love yet they don t care.

We were very lucky to get our little Peri, a small brown Chihuahua, from Second Chance Kennels. She is a little joy and was so well looked after by Ena and Frank. A fantastic Rescue centre run by two very special people. Many thanks to Ena and Frank from Ann and Mike xx

Very well run and caring in their job. They will not let anybody just turn up and take dogs. They will vet all potential new owners before they will allow anyone to leave with a dog and also check up on their progress once with the new family. This also includes a home visit to check the suitability of the new home as well. Very responsible and professional.

Lots of dog s needing rehomed but the application process and fees to get a dog are ridiculous

Lost my old Labrador few days ago and went up with 5 bags of towels,collars,leashes,toys,winter coats,brushes,bowls etc.A man eventually opened the gate enough to peek through the gate and I asked him if I could donate 5 bags of dog things...nope.. what do you have exactly,he asked me. When I told him he said he's got enough of that stuff but to try PDSA.. he was rude and abrupt and very ignorant as I had just lost my best ever friend in the whole world and he had not an ounce of empathy or manners....

Brilliant place, staff are lovely and they look after the dogs very well.
