I ordered salt and pepper chickenI got 9 very small pieces chicken 2 of them were just batter. This would not of fed a child. £7.30. DAME GREEDY PEOPLE.When phoned they were so rude and dont care about there customers.People there is better places to get your food from

The salt and pepper chips with onions are tasty. Their beansprouts looked like they had black mould. I had to pick almost all of them out of my meal. Never again! What a terrible shame as the meal was a treat from a family member. The other two had chicken rather than vegetable dishes so they didn’t have the rotten beansprout problem. I had vegetables and cashews. I would NEVER feed such rotten looking beansprouts to anyone.

Ordered a simple takeaway , the lady was rude on the phone when placed the order. The food arrived on time for a change and I thought that was a good sign ,only too undo the food bag and its Missing the rice to my meal. Rang up the woman and she was very rude . Waited 20 mins for the rice by which time I'd finished the main part . Avoid at all costs and rest assured will never order again from this place. It's a dive run down hole . Dirty ,greasy and tasteless . This used to warrant 5 stars but since new owners its 1 star at max .

This is the best takeaway. We are a family of four, are big eaters and yet the set meal for two people gives us plenty. The taste of all dishes is great. The price is really reasonable for what you get compared to most takeaways and the set meals have a great variety. Love the fortune cookies but you have to specifically ask for them when you pick your order up.

Ordered the A1 meal for two plus ¼ duck and pancakes over the phone and collected within 15 min.Easy enough, sensible price, majority of the food was really tasty (I'm not convinced there's such a thing as a good giant spring roll). Portions were very large and could have easily fed 3 with the banquet.Service was friendly enough, we even got a box to carry our food in! Accepting card was a bonus.If their food hygiene rating had been a 5 (it's currently a 4) then I'd have given 5 stars. Maybe I'm naive, but this seems like a very basic standard to achieve. TBF, all the other local Chinese takeaways have a 3, so hey ho!

Phoned in an order for collection, ready in 20 minutes. Food was absolutely delicious, sweet and sour chicken balls with nice chunks of breast meat, really juicy. Starter platter was bang on. 2 weeks later and about to put in an order again.

We ordered for collection and the food was quick (20 mins), hot and delicious! This is definitely our new favourite Chinese takeaway in West Bridgford.A member of our party is gluten free and hasn't been able to eat Chinese for a long time. The staff at The Oriental were incredibly knowledgeable and put her at ease about exactly what she could or couldn't order. She felt confident to eat and said it was delicious.

The food was really good from here great service and friendly staff I would recommend. I did order a lot for 1 person which was stupid of me to do as I couldn't eat it all. So I saved a meal for the next day and I reheated the fried rice which I shouldn't have as it made me ill. But that was my own fault. The food was lovely and I enjoyed every bit of it. Do not reheat the rice as it will make you ill and that will be your own doing and not theirs as. YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TAKE AWAY AND I WILL BE VISITING AGAIN the lamb curry, special fried rice. chicken satay skewers and egg fried rice with sweat and sour chicken balls so yeah I ordered way too much my for 1 person my own fault lol

We've tried quite a few positions from the menu so far and were very happy with the flavours and quality. Black bean sauce is my favourite and they didn't let me down with it!I ordered online recently for a specified time delivery and they were so punctual I couldn't believe. Came back from work and didn't even close the door and their car arrived. Everything fresh and tasty, nice flavours, we were very happy and are more than happy to order again!

Honestly, microwave your own food. The salt and pepper tofu was like cardboard. Our whole order too 20 minutes from order to be delivered- which for good food I don’t understand. I rang to complain and was called a liar. Honestly, don’t bother here, there are plenty better places to go.
