Lauren Francis Tutoring

Our son has been with Lauren for 4 months now for English and maths. Thanks to Lauren his confidence and ability in both subjects has grown significantly. Lauren has a way of explaining things clearly in an environment that feels very relaxed. I’d have absolutely no hesitation in recommending tutoring with Lauren.

Lauren is an excellent teacher! she is very thoughtful, and her lessons were outstanding. She was very patient with our son and encouraged him to learn, feel safe and supported in doing so and gained valuable feedback that helped him to improve. Lauren supported us all the way through, even after the exam.I would highly recommend her to anyone parent because she is amazing at what she does! Lauren is a fantastic tutor, my son has learnt so much from his GCSE maths lessons with her. I have signed my 11 year old daughter up already for these sessions in 3 years. Thank you so much Lauren for helping my son with his extra studies and to also help him gain his confidence with Maths.

We would highly recommend Lauren. She is very approachable, great with the students and goes the extra mile to ensure work is covered. Our daughter studied the 11+ with Lauren, her studies started when we still had Covid restrictions so initial learning was online, which worked well, but was even better when lessons could take place in person. Lauren is very supportive to individual learning needs and her feedback was always thorough, helpful and encouraging. We would not hesitate to go back to Lauren if any tutoring is required in the future.

We have been very impressed with the service we have received from Lauren Francis Tutoring. Although Lauren herself was fully booked when we contacted her for KS2 support she was extremely helpful in putting us in touch with another fantastic tutor, Grace, who works for her.We couldn't be more happy with Grace. She has made a real effort to get to know our daughter and always goes over and above with her lessons. She always comes to the lessons very well prepared and covers an extensive number of areas during the hour. The homework she sets after the lesson is always fun, and explained very well beforehand.We have used other tutors in the past, but Grace is by far the best. Her friendly and personable nature definitely makes her relatable to younger students.Although Lauren is not our daughter's tutor, she has also been extremely supportive in sending over additional materials when we have needed them. If you chose Lauren Francis Tutoring you will not be disappointed.

My daughters attitude to maths has changed so much since having lessons with Lauren, previously she wouldn’t even read a question but have already made her mind up that she couldn’t possibly do it. Now she isn’t scared, she doesn’t have that ‘brick wall’ and prepared is to give most things a go. She has come on leaps and bounds since being with Lauren and my daughter has such a good relationship with her. We plan to continue to have lessons throughout year 10&11, I highly recommend Lauren.

My Son started tutoring with Lauren just before the Summer holidays. He took part in a few one-to-one lessons, then joined a group of students studying for the 11 plus.Lauren was excellent with all of the children. She was welcoming, encouraging and constantly informed my son on how he could improve.My Son was always happy to go to the sessions with Lauren.He took to mock tests with Lauren and her feedback was always very detailed and helpful.I would whole heartedly recommend Lauren as a tutor.

Lauren is an engaging and supportive tutor. She adapts her lessons to suit different learning styles. My children had fallen so far behind with their English during lockdown. With her support, they have made massive progress and are now a lot more confident writing and they also enjoy learning. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing support.

I cannot recommend Lauren Francis Tutoring highly enough. My son attends group sessions with Lauren for Maths GCSE. He had totally lost his confidence and really disliked his maths lessons and as a result was under achieving in tests.He has been going to Lauren's lessons for approximately 10 months and the change in him has been phenomenal. He is much more confident and actually looks forward to her lessons!I have found Lauren to be very professional and incredibly helpful. She really cares about her students and this can be seen in the results she achieves with them.
