Myself and my son fished at Mossat during 2018. The fishing was very good with dry fly fishing working very well. The owner is a great guy. Highly recommend a trip there

Attended with my daughter of 6. It was a cold March BH weekend. The fishery is in a lovely spot, the owner is really warm and welcoming and what's more we caught fish. The fella running this place made our day very very special one. Many thanks

Mossat Trout Fishery
We visited this fishery on the weekend and spent a perfect morning learning how to fly fish. Steve was extremely helpful and went out of his way to teach us the techniques needed, he calmly repeated himself until we started to pick it up and was very encouraging when we started to get better. The location is beautiful and peaceful with rescued animals wandering around happily and tea and coffee in the bothy for when the wind gets too cold. We had a wonderful time and are very appreciative to Steve for going above and beyond what was expected. Many thanks!

Beautiful surroundings. Very knowledgeable owner who spent a great deal of his time helping me get back into fly fishing. Well stocked. I havent fished in a great deal of time and loved getting back into the swing of things.

My partner Margaret and myself found this fishery to be a natural paradise with phenomenal numbers of great fish all over the lakes.Steve and his charming wife could not have been more pleasant and hospitable to us and even said we could park the car up and use the superbly equipped fishing hut or my own car to stay until morning to make our way back to Aviemore.Hospitality such as this is unsurpassed and I thoroughly recommend this beautiful and idyllic pescatorial delight a visit and then continue visiting.Thankyou to yourself Steve and your good lady wife.I hope to return very soon my friend.Best wishes, John Mallan.

I would just like to say a massive thanks to Steve for giving me and the young lad I am befriending so much time on Saturday. He stayed with us for several hours and made the young lads day. Steve was very patient and friendly, he chatted away to us both the whole time and we couldn’t recommend the place enough. There was lots of fish jumping etc just no catches for us, this however didn’t dampen our day and a great day was had by us both. We will both be back over summer and hope to catch a fish next time.
