D'vine Restaurant
In York on Saturday in early April. It was heaving and we were turned away from a few eating places as they were full. Stumbled over this little gem and gave it a try. We were shown to a window seat which was great for people watching and within 10 minutes our drinks order was taken. Drinks arrived quickly and a meal order was taken at that point. Literally 10 minutes later we had the food. Amazing speedy service. I had the nacho chicken pizza which was lovely, not too filling and came with three dips for the Nacho's. My partner had the 4 cheese pizza which she enjoyed. Restaurant is nicely decorated and relaxed. Try to get a window seat if possible and watch the world go by. Staff were friendly and chatty. Bill came to £56 for two pizza's and 4 pints of Peroni.

Absolutely good choice. We walked through York without any plans for early dinner and we stopped because from the wide opened windows there could be heard lovely Italian music. Nothing can be better than theme atmosphere filled by themed music in the background. Food was top class. We had pizza and seabass with gnocchi. Wine recommended from the wine list, absolutely gorgeous and worthy of the price. Lovely and helpful staff. We will be back for sure!0

Excellent meal and service. One of the people I was with didn't like her meal and the staff were great about it. I had a pizza as they do two for one pizzas on a tuesday and it was really good, the base was thin and tasty and plenty of topping. The prawn starter was also perfectly cooked. I will definitely be back.

This is my second visit to D'vine, we came last year after the races as we struggled to book anywhere that allowed a toddler in after 5 pm.The food and staff were that nice we booked again for this visit. And it didn't disappoint. We were greeted by your lovely staff and walked to the table, menu's was passed out and asked for allergies.The food arrived in a reasonable time and all at once for a table of 7. It was hot and well presented. When we finished eating, the staff was quick to move plates and ask for drinks.Overall, it was a great visit again. Thank you, D'vine

Genuinely one of the best meals in my life. This was a special week away, otherwise I'd never think of eating at a restaurant like this but when I saw the set menu I was really surprised. I can't usually afford steak, and if i could it usually isn't great, but this was the best steak I've ever eaten and in the set menu, I got 3 courses for £20 (no extra charge for steak!). The starter was the mozerella flatbread which was basically just an entire pizza and absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and service was so quick that we never had to sit long without anything. With york becoming such a tourist trap, and plenty of places charging so much money for below average food, this place really made me feel happy, especially for the price I paid for the meal. Thanks!

I thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass. It was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The accompanying veggies were fresh and complemented the dish beautifully. The salad was delicious and refreshing.The service was also very good :))

Great restaurant, lovely atmosphere. My £26 steak was a little tough though. Didn't complain...who wants to ruin a beautiful dinner date?

We were caught in the rain, looking for somewhere to eat. What a find! The food and service were excellent and we shall certainly be going again. A new favourite for both of us.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience at D'vine last weekend. The service was amazing and the atmosphere inside is lovely, felt so intimate. We really liked our food and if it wasn't for having to rush to the cinema we would've loved to stay for dessert. Only thing I didn't like was the price for the halloumi starter felt a bit much for how little you get, but everything else we felt was very fairly priced. Would definitely go back!
