Called them on Monday morning as my very elderly aunt's toilet cistern was cracked. Visited by lunchtime, quoted a reasonable price, fitted by Tuesday lunchtime! Excellent service.. polite, friendly, good value. Would definitely recommend.

My mother of 90 had a new boiler supplied and fitted from Babsons Barkingside. In one year alone the pressure dropped and boiler stopped working. Babsons weren’t interested. I called a friend and he told me what to do to rectify problem.After a year I called Babsons up for the boilers first service. Engineer was there 15 minutes and charged £102. I think this was extortionate and called them. They weren’t interested in what I had to say. Just a warning. If you can, try and avoid Babsons.

I was recommended these plumbers by a local who had used them for many years. The job was to remove the old boiler from a bedroom cupboard and put it in the kitchen and to stop the water leaks from the water tank in the roof. The plumber came in, didn't have to look too much but knew what to do. What I liked was that the company then emailed a detailed quote of the work required. Afterwards, they said they were really busy and wouldn't be able to do the work for a few weeks. They then called a few days later to say they can fit our job in. And they did everything apart from remove the water tank in the loft. They arranged for the electrician to do his job and provided the building control certificate for the boiler. We didn't realise that we would have liked to remove the left over pipes and the redundant water tank so we had to get someone else to do that. From my experience, I liked them because they know what needs to be done, provide a detailed written quote and get the job done quickly. They only thing is that they are busy so make sure you detail everything you want done from the start because once they are finished, they are finished.
