Ordered shutters back in March, still not been given an installation date. Ignored on calls and emails, and even requested a refund but heard nothing back. Reporting to Trading Standards as they shouldn't be in business. Shockingly ignorant and unprofessional.

This company is a complete nightmare. They make up stories as to why the installation date has been pushed back. Their customer service is non existent and they are rude. We waited six months until they finally fitted them, it was only when we asked for a refund they gave us a firm date. Complete blag artists. Look elsewhere!

I love my shutters. We were considering curtains for our downstairs, but we have lovely stained glass windows at the top of our bay window. I wanted something that would complement them, whilst still offering privacy. The shutters deliver this, whilst letting loads of light in which was important to us.Mike, who is a proper joiner, was really efficient and showed great workmanship. I would definitely recommend Cool Shutters. The whole thing ran very smoothly, and the quality of materials is excellent

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!Placed an order September 2022, now September 2023 and still no shutters. Absolutely atrocious customer service - paid by bank transfer so now pursuing refund through the courts, CCJ issued already!! Zero comms since April 2023, no return phone calls and they do not answer emails.Wish I could give Zero Stars!!!

Ordered June. Advised 12-14Weeks. No contact from anyone. Chased and chased. False promises of calls back… nothing. Truly awful customer service. Now do not take any of my calls and replies to my emails. They have over £1000 of my money. A pure sham and awful Co. AVOID at all Costs.

Appointment in May, despite a dozen phone messages that are barely ever returned get no updates. Found out today don't know where product is, 6 months later. Now the joy awaits of getting a refund from them. Looking at how to make a county Court claim (will probably have to do this to get a response) and the Insolvency service public interest unit, investigating live companies. Avoid this company at all costs.

Having had the misfortune of purchasing shutters from this company, I feel the need to post an accurate review. From start to finish they were disappointing, lack of communication, lack of care and lack of any customer understanding. I would strongly advise anyone from using this company, they lie continuously, fail to arrive when they say they will. Constant excuses led me to the point of amusement in the end. I will say this, their fitters were great, but as you will guess aren’t employed by them. Avoid at all costs!! Can’t believe they are still in business, they shouldn’t be!!

Really really bad experience. Ordered shutters in September, the website quotes 8 weeks and Cool shutters said before Christmas for installation. The date has then moved to Jan, then Feb etc. it’s now been well over Six months and not only are they not installed I haven’t even had confirmation of a date they will be.If I don’t get a timing update this week I’ll contact my bank and try and get a refund.Update April 20th: We requested a refund via email and cool shutters within 14 days. We didn't response in writing.Update July: Finally returned our deposit! Wouldn’t recommend

Wonderful company from start to finish. Really friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We got quotes from a few companies but these guys came in with a great price and we loved their product the most. The shutters arrived on time and were fitted beautifully. We are extremely pleased we went with cool shutters, we highly recommend this company.

Avoid at all costs.We ordered some extra shutters from them early March, and, oh well, we are still waiting. We don't receive more than excuses and excuses.By reading the comments of other people in here, sounds like they are just keeping customers' deposits and then not providing any type of feedback about the status of the order so you get bored at some point and decide that your mental health and time is worth more than the deposit you have paid. A good scam if you think about it as they seem to be still in business.We have obviously contacted Trading Standards and I recommend everyone to do it so they can shut them down.It's a shame as we got our initial shutters ordered from them and everything went well. Now it seems they have lost all the credibility; this is well known by other companies in that industry. They should be ashamed of themselves for messing with people's money.
