This is a community hub pub. The community bought it after it closed apparently. Its a proper pub. I think it is camra rated?It had good range of real ale and cider. Range of optics and mixers. Don't ask for a cocktail... could have had some local gin and spirits that seem to be a growing in popularity. Micro distillersHad a nice fire going. Barman was welcoming. It was a good place to stop off after our walk.

Cute and cosy.. we where here just last night and the atmosphere was fabulous. Everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming. Drinks where a great price, a great range too. Lovely little beer garden children and dog friendly which is great. This is a community run pub and what a great community it is. So if you live near by or just passing through the quaint little village of great Oakley, make sure you stop off at the maybush Inn.

Super friendly staff and really accommodating. We were passing through on our way to the port. Tasty pub food and really good value, despite the kitchen winding down for a private party! Would recommend this pub and friendly staff.

Great example or a community run pub. Excellent knowledgeable volunteer staff, welcoming regulars/locals and tasty ales too. Will definitely be making the walk from Wrabness to Great Oakley again.
