Worst service I've ever had. When I went into the store to drop off my laptop for diagnostics via the laptops GPU system was shorted. I did a lot of research prior to bringing it in, I just needed a second look and advice. I put it in on a Friday (which they work through the weekend) And told me that on the Monday they would have it looked over and would call me back to tell me about the results. I waited the whole day and decided to call 30 mins before they were closing to ask about the issue. They said, we're still working on it

Recently visited Data systems to fix my laptop as i spilled milk over it. I asked for them to give me a professional clean. The clean cost £45 which i thought was perfectly fine. However the repair man notified me that there was problems with the mother board and a keyboard replacement for a high price of 240 for the keyboard and 80 for the mother board. I UNDERSTOOD that i needed a new keyboard but disagreed with him about the motherboard and asked for my laptop back. I then took my laptop to a place called I smash who then advised me that all i need is a keyboard replacement for 149.00 and there was no issue with the motherboard it was a made up fault. AVOID THIS PLACE. tries to get as much money out of you and makes made up problems.... by the way--- the clean that they done. was awful. I smash opened up my laptop and there was still very clear milk stains and showed me personally. AVOID AVOID AVOID. To note i do not work for ISMASH however for someone who is going to read this i presume you will take my word for it and ISMASH is based in trinity leeds. Laptop was fixed in 2 days and im using it to write this review

Excellent service and very knowledgeable retailer for computers. They fixed my laptop in a day for the best ever price quoted in Leeds. Would not hesitate to recommend Data System to anyone.Thank you Ebi (the owner) for fixing my computers in the last 15 years.

Charge a diagnostic fee when you can just go somewhere else where they look at it for no extra cost.

Overpriced to say the least.I went in and asked for them to fix a screen hinge and I paid £37.50 for 'investigation and diagnostics'. I had thought this would be the total cost so at the time I thought this was reasonable. When I picked it up they charged another £42 +VAT for the spare parts. As I needed the laptop ASAP I paid In total £95.40 for fixing a hinge on a laptop. Considering I had walked into the store and told them to fix the hinge, and still charged the £37.50 to investigate and diagnose the issue it's ridiculous.Even worse, the laptop was returned with scratches all over the back of the screen (shown in image attached).However credit where credit is due, the problem is fixed which is what I had asked them to do and the hinge works fine and they did a basic clean of the keyboard.£95.40 for a broken hinge!!!

My Dell laptop had a physically damaged screen which needed replacing. The guy I dealt with was courteous and the service was fast, efficient and I was kept informed by SMS. The repair was perfect.

Replaced my MagSafe connecter for my MacBook Pro, advised me on how to be careful with the new one, pointing out common misuse which causes the fault mine had. My new one came with a guarantee and is still working fine nearly 2 years later. Also - the best price I could find anywhere! Very good friendly and honest service. The pathetic attempts by 'rivals' or just trolling idiots are just that- pathetic.I have no connection with the shop and have only been once but I just thought I'd state the facts as I see them.Highly Recommended!!

I first went in to get my motherboard replaced. Ebi was great and looked for a new one, my old one was obsolete, online and ordered it with a new processor. He also sorted out my graphics card which wasn't working.When i wished to upgrade my card and RAM last year he was very helpful in getting me a good deal and searching for the cheapest one. My PC has been running perfect since then. Friendly and reliable service would recommend.Great job all round.

The screen on my MacBook Pro laptop ceased to work. Ebi was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and gave prompt attention. His advice (the hard drive was sound and uncorrupted) saved me from losing 10 days of work and paying for a costly and possibly time-limited repair (confirmed by Apple). Not to mention saving me a lot of money. His solution: a desktop screen attached to my mac HD and a second-hand laptop - came to just over half the cost of the likely Mac repair. And I have more working options. Though I'm going between Windows and Mac (I didn't need to completely jump ship), the big screen desktop set up is definitely more comfortable to work at. Thank you again!

DO NOT GO HERE. came here for a diagnostic check on a MacBook which cost £40 and they ripped several components in my laptop including that connecting to the trackpad and finger ID pad. This cost an extra £200 to get fixed elsewhere. awful customer service and refused to give me my laptop back until two days after I have handed it in for water damage despite noting me a 24 hour wait time. so disappointed and after confronting them of the damage they have made they made no effort to resolve the mistakes or compensate me for the extra money spent. They also did not properly put my laptop back together after the check so it was unable to turn it back on, I believe this was to give the impression it required more work than what was actually necessary. they have little knowledge about MacBooks and as a whole are both nasty people and bad at fixing technology.
