Vault Beach
Beautiful isolated beach, but also used by naturalists

Another beautiful Cornish beach, 800 metres of silver sand. Easy access from the carpark, the path is fairly level and not too steep. A hawk was looking for his dinner and an old ship sailed by. I walked from the Coast Path and the fields were full of butterflies, 100's of them.

We loved this beach for an evening stroll with the dogs - it was perfect! For the way down from the parking lot, I'd recommend proper shoes instead of flip flops but that is usually the case around here anyway.

Beautiful, quiet beach. Quite a walk down from the carpark. Would recommend beach shoes as the surface is very fine shingle. One end apparently nudist, but didn't go down. Amazing swim across the bay.

Really lovely beach to find, if you don't mind a downhill walk to it & an uphill one to get back to car park. We did notice it was a nudist beach at one end, but they were very discreet & it didnt bother us.

Unspoilt Cornish beach. Stunning walk down to the beach from the car park. Easy access to the beach - a few steps and some easy to navigate rocks. Only a handful of other people were there on our visit during October half term. Be prepared for the narrow road to reach the beach carpark. It is up a steep hill with very few passing places.

Great Beach a bit of the beaten path.30 minute walk from Gorran Haven on the SW coastal path or 15 minutes from the Lamledra car park. This is accessed from the Northern End and consists of a sandy bank at the back of the beach with a stone bank and a granite sand incline to the water. Steep drop of under water so waves can be a bit fierce especially when the tide is going out. Plenty of space with long lively walks to the far end.Great for a BBQ. There are no facilities here.Top Tip 1. Keep an eye on tide times as the far end of the beach can get cut offTop Tip 2. The granite sand at the water's edge can be a bit sharp so swim/beach shoes recommended.Top Tip 3. Dogs welcome all year round and plenty of space for them to run off.Top Tip 4. The far end tends to be more level and plenty of sea birds congregated at this end.

The beach was wonderful. The weather on the day was very windy and mixed showers mid July but it was still delightful. Quiet beach and only accessible on foot 20 minute walk downhill from the car park. It’s a hike. The car park is accessed uphill up a single track very slim road. We managed in a Mondeo saloon but it was difficult meeting oncoming cars having to reverse etc. worth it though! Lots of bird life and bug life. Beautiful views and decent surfer waves! Ideal for a picnic.

Very nice walk from are campsite on the sw coastal path. Rotting seaweed smell and a mass of gulls and flies. But overall a nice beach for the dogs.
