Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an Indian dinner in Leeds. The authentic cooking from the chef is the highlight of Nawaab’s. I opted for the Nirahli Special (boneless chicken in a smooth creamy sauce) accompanied by pilau rice and garlic naan with a jug of mango lassi. You could taste that everything was freshly made to order, which made the garlic naan absolutely divine. Mango lassi was a tad on the sweet side but that may be because I had a whole jug to myself! Went here on a solo dinner and the staff had great banter and made me feel very comfortable! Look forward to visiting in the future 10/10

Popped in as I needed somewhere nearby after a long evening travelling. Despite being very busy, they were happy to fit me in without a booking and made me feel welcome and well looked after. Food was really good and exactly what I needed.

Very tastey meal, generous portions and well priced.Good service, staff are polite.Indoor lighting is a bit dark and the bright blue strip lights / large TV graphics caused problems for my companion.

Nawaab is a proper old school curry house in the City Centre, even down to the handwritten bill at the end! The service was fast and efficent, even on a busy Saturday night. The Chicken Handi was really good although I've had better starters elsewhere. Would definitely still recommend.

We've just had a wonderful night at the Nawaab, we are not from Leeds so stumbled across it and so pleased we did. The staff were friendly the service on time. We enjoyed a mixed starter followed by mains and a bottle of shiraz. Prices and atmosphere much better than London. This gem is worth seeking out. When we're back in Leeds a return visit is a must! Just heading home after an excellent curry. We called in on a Saturday evening in December at 16.45 and asked to book a table for 4 at 18.45. We thought we'd have no chance as we'd tried to book 'on the hoof' in the past and also tried to book in advance for Christmas meal in a couple of weeks but had been knocked back due to the restaurant being full. I didn't have much hope, but this time we were lucky!!Everything was spot on. Service great, orders taken quickly, hot plates and food spot on. Starters plentiful and mains perfectly spiced. All agreed it was the best curry we've had for a long time. We've eaten here a few times in the past and always been very happy with food and service. Very pleased we could get in at short notice and will definitely return. Thanks to all for an excellent meal.

We were in Leeds for the open day at the University. We doing this fantastic restaurant online and it made it Friday night. Amazing food at a reasonable price, but what made it great was the staff. So funny, friendly and helpful, told us ask about the city and made us feel so welcome. We'll definitely return.

Had a lovely time here. The atmosphere is nice and it wasnt too bad to find parking nearby. The starters were very good. The main meat curry would have been better if it was more hot like I requested. The chicken curry was good.
