I suffer phobia of heights and glass , at the fringe festival I went to see the brilliant Lena .. but on entering I struggled to go upstairs , the wonderful assistant came to my aid took me in the lift and ensured that I was safe and comfortableBig thank you

Visited in August to see Frank Skinner Show. Situated next to the Gilded Balloon entertainment complex . Modern decent seating enabling good view of artist. Stage well positioned and good sound system . Toilets in basement were clean

We went to see Gyles Brandreth during the Edinburgh Festival, and he was thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. It was the first time we'd been in this theatre and would definitely return.

Went to see a play about Lena Zavaroni during the festival. The play was brilliant but I'm reviewing the theatre. So it's quite an intimate space which lends itself to a certain kind of experience. It's up a couple of flights of stairs and it's much of a muchness really. It is what it is. An empty space with seats. Very adequate as a small theatre. I think it lends itself to small productions not big musical type shows. But hey...... that's show business.

Watched Lena at the Edinburgh Fringe in here. Massive theatre so plenty of room and spare seats so if you are a bit wary of small theatres then go for this. Fab and emotional show also.

Lots of stairs, very little leg room and uncomfortably hot. There are no exit passageways at the back so it's very interrupting if people are leaving down the middle stairs. Toilets are at the very bottom of the building which is inconvenient.

Central location with good access to transport links. When full and in the summer it is very hot, and a wet heat so be prepared for that, I wouldn't advise wearing a jumper! Seats were very comfortable and it's well laid out to see the stage area.

This is a Lecture Theatre for students at The University of Edinburgh, it is also a venue for Edinburgh Festival during August. It is not for the general public until the Festival.
