European Cultural Centre, La Dante in Cambridge (Italian, Spanish, English)

I worked as an Italian L2 teacher for La Dante for over three years, assisting in the school's online transition. During this time I learnt a lot from the school and the other teachers and had the opportunity to deal with different learning needs. Here are some examples of the services provided by La Dante: one-to-one, two-to-one lessons, classes at all levels, preparation for the PLIDA exams at B1, B2 and C1 levels, individual and group lessons for children. In addition, students at La Dante can participate free of charge in cultural events such as cooking classes, free conversation classes, online and in-person aperitifs, and meetings dedicated to Italian cinema and literature. I am grateful to La Dante for this opportunity and to all the students I have had the pleasure of following on their path to learning Italian.

I've been studying Spanish with La Dante since the beginning of this year. The lessons are very interactive with lots of opportunities for speaking practice and feedback. Nerea and Manuel are both great teachers. I look forward to moving onto the improvers course in the Autumn term :)

La Dante is a great place to learn Italian. The teachers are fantastic; really helpful, committed and approachable. Giulia, the founder, and the administration team are all really helpful and friendly. It's a really friendly and welcoming environment in which to make great progress and have fun learning Italian, with lots of opportunities to get involved in Italian conversation and cultural events. Can't recommend it highly enough!

I had a 6 months internship with La Dante, and as a student in University of Nottingham, I can say that I learned many thing through this experience. In management degree, key element is experience and La Dante showed me many important aspects in education sector. Especially thanking our Marking Manager Gilda Notarbartolo for all her efforts.

I just completed a 6 months internship with La Dante, and as a recent university graduate, they really helped me to hone the skills learned during my degree and make a strong start to my professional journey. I got a huge range of experience, I learned key admin skills, how to remain adaptable and face any professional challenge. I also learned marketing fundamentals and got to practice creating all sorts of marketing material for the company! It is a great interactive system to teach languages, I was already doing a conversation in my first class and in every class I had about 5 pages written in my notebook to go and practice.

La Dante in Cambridge is the ideal place for learning Italian. There is such a friendly atmosphere, classes are small and the school takes great care to put the right people together. Our teacher is fantastic and time flies in her lessons. But it's not just the language, we also talk about Italian culture, food!!!!, customs etc. I can only recommend La Dante to people who want to learn Italian.

La Dante is a welcoming and professional centre, the perfect place where to learn Italian and Spanish in an informal and constructive environment. The administration is brilliant, they always manage to find the right solution for every student's need, and they are very accurate in chosing the right level and course for everyone. The staff is very kind and absolutely professional. I would warmly recommend this school to everyone wishing to have a great experience into the Italian and Spanish worlds.
