Some of the loveliest people I have ever met. Both owners were a delight and extremely caring! Food was good! And the Guinness was poured to perfection haha. Definitely worth a visit!!

What a fantastic little find this was. Really friendly, and the food was excellent. Real homemade pub food. Not out of boxes or cartons like a lot of chain pubs. Small menu but done extremely well. We couldn't believe it was a Thwaites pub. So much different to the others we've been in. Good selection of real ale too. We will be going back.

Lovely friendly staff served up a delicious cheese pie chips and peas ....mmmm ....for less that £7.00 !! Why would you need to go anywhere else ....defo come back for more

Working in the area..for a few weeks. Met Stan the bar man and musician Sunday night. What a legend so so friendly great pub great staff. Just like Ribchester and Longridge lovely sound honest folk. Mind blowing friendly. Can't wait to come back in a few weeks. Mighty stuff.

Small original village pub with car park and outside beer garden. Pleasent staff and reasonable priced. Meals can be purchased am from 5pm.

A total transformation. From a dour and rather dirty boozer to a friendly and welcoming local hostelry. The beer is well kept and there's the promise of home cooked food soon. Amazing how a change of management can transform a place. Well done Cath and Sue. Best pint of Wainwright's I've ever had.
