This little gem claims to be the possiable church that William Shakespeare married Anne hathaway. There is no record of this however one of Shakespeare's grand daughters did get married there and it is suggested because it is such a small church that there was sentimental value.

Now this IS special! What a treat just next to the sheep-grazed deserted medieval village remains! Excellent driving break on my way to work - a rebuilt medieval church with the most intricate medieval stone carving from about 1140 in the Herefordshire School style, displayed inside. The church is said by some to be where Shakespeare married. As with other Herefordshire School work, this seems to be a church built for a particular patron and was placed close to the manor house.
