Store attendant was extremely polite and knowledgeable and should definitely be recognised for their work.

Bought an ex display car stereo. There was no box, no instructions, no removal pins and I had to ask for the installation cage. The staff member that was called to assist was very unhelpful and when asked if it didn’t work could I return it I was told it does work it was in the display. As everyone knows there are many functions to a car stereo and I am 100% sure that these were not checked before sale. The discount applied due to it being ex display was applied due to the condition (there were multiple scratches and the fact it is second hand) so the fact that some key components are missing now makes it very poor value for money. Ex display is a ripoff! Stay clear! It is not a good deal!

I purchased a bike for my grandson unfortunately the axel broke owing to a manufacturing fault, I returned the bike to Peterhead shop where I purchased the bike 5Weeks later after numerous excuses and promises I was phoned to collect the bike. When I collected the bike first the stand was hanging off which was fixed in a couple of minutes then I took the bike out to my car and I couldn’t believe that one of the main bolts holding the frame together was.sticking out, I immediately took it back inside and they apologised but couldn’t find the other half or the bolt and took one off a bike on display and 30 minutes later I took the bike homeThe after sales was shocking and I’ll never use this store again which is a pity as over the years I’ve purchased all my sons bikes, my wife’s bike and 2 of my grandkids bikes plus I recently purchased a bike rack and this is the first time I’ve had to use their after sales service, I’ve given 1 star but really they don’t deserve any

my daughter bought a car battery in December 2022 in November 2023 10 months later her car would not start. had to call out a garage to get it started. they took it away to check for faults found the battery was faulty not holding the charge, gave us the readout of the test they did. we took it to halfords they tested the battery with there machine said nothing wrong, the garage told us before we left what would happen they have had other customers with the same thing happening, tried to tell the manager that the battery was not holding the charge didnt make any difference no way were we going to get a replacement, she said you should have brought the car to us to test, I said that would be a bit hard to do as it would not start, god knows what sort of education you need to be a manager at halfords, do not buy your car batterys from halfords ,ours was £122 for it to last 10 months, it has a five year guarantee that is not worth the paper it is wrote on .

Used to better.. shame the staff don't want ro know. One guy in particular is extremely unpleasant, always on his phone and sneers whenever you dare interrupt him from scrolling on Tik Tok or whatever he is doing.

Says online there is 20% off all battery’s with trade card but could only get 10% off even when queried about it at desk

Kayleigh was a great help and very knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to secure the perfect bike for me. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with her in store.

I would highly recommend Halfords, for servicing your bike. Very fast turnaround, having dropped my E-bike off at 1pm, I had a phone call at 2pm to say it was ready to collect.Very happy with what they have done.Thank you Halford's Peterhead, I will use you next time.

Halfords own branded "Bike Oil" 10W-40 Part Syn Motorcycle Oil 5L (463054) priced on line at £27.99 with either the free next day delivery or collection in store but if you buy it in store it's going to cost you another £4.00 as it's priced at £31.99! I phoned to complain to their customers services but would have been better off chatting to my neighbours cat

Booked my bike in for a health check. Daniel was really good, confirmed my thoughts that cassette and chain were worn. Priced up parts and then told me that there was a government discount. So all in including drive chain service was cheaper than the price of the parts. Excellent service
