I have eleven year old engineered oak flooring in my kitchen/dining room and hall. The floor needed sanding and rewaxing, but the main problem was caused by the lifting edges and cracked floorboards becoming a trip hazard (mainly during the winter months when the underfloor heating was running). There were also a couple of ring marks from a paint can and the surface had been discoloured in one small area.I have previously called in other flooring experts to solve the problems but without any success.Arnis Augulis, of AA Floors, is a true professional who knows and understands his subject. I felt very confident with his solutions to the problem flooring which required quite dramatic measures to get if flat - a lot of epoxy resin, heavy weights, lots of sanding and filling plus a specialist topcoat. A piece of oak veneer was also inserted to replace a damaged bit of floorboard.Arnis and his team masked things that could not be moved before starting work. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the day. The sanding machines were so efficient there was only the tiniest amount of dust.The finished floor looks splendid. The blemished and uneven floorboards are so smooth and richly coloured. I think the floor looks better now with the new finish than it did when it was first laid with a wax finish.A five star result!Thank you Arnis, Boguslaw and AdamMaria McClellandMuswell Hill.

Arnis did a fantastic job restoring our outdoor concrete worktop, stripping back the original sealant and resealing it and polishing it and improving its colour considerably, by adding special tint to the sealant. The result is much better than the original! He is a true craftsman and was a pleasure to deal with.

Top draw!!I don’t often write reviews, but our experience was so positive and the end result so brilliant that I felt it right to let others know of the exceptional standard of service AA Flooring offer.Arnis and Michal are both master craftsman. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their new floor; in our case it was solid oak.We dealt with Arnis mostly and he was certainly the most responsive person we’ve dealt with when it comes to trade jobs. Highly organised, always on time, thoughtful and provide ample information on each stage.We had our floors damaged by water, so we needed everything up and out, which Arnis and his colleague Bo took care of. We then had to have the stone floor levelled which Arnis did an amazing job with and a DPM sealant on top to stop any risk of future moisture.The solid oak floor went in (Arnis gave advice based on years of experience of what type of oak we should source and how it would be finished etc.) and the level of finish is absolutely amazing.Funny thing is that when Arnis was getting ready to sand the newly installed floor, I hadn’t asked about dust so left my air purifier on which takes out particles in the air… and it couldn’t even detect any foreign air particles because AA Flooring had such a high grade sander that has an integrated dust system that there was no sign of dust at all.So much as to say, a really big thank you to Arnis, Michal and the team at AA Flooring for their dedication to the craft and to their customers.

Arnis recently helped extend and restore the original parquet flooring in our hallway with his colleague Bo. He laid the old reclaimed blocks lifted from another room to extend the flooring following an extension. Together they did an amazing job and we now can't tell which bits are original and which bits are newly laid, it just looks like how the floor has always been. So pleased with the end result!Arnis and Bo were just lovely people, who work hard and do a great job. What more can you ask! Thanks you!

The transformation was remarkable, making it seem like we had a brand new living room! I am extremely grateful for their services and cannot thank them enough. Despite my budget constraints, I had initially planned to apply the finishing coats myself, however, Arnis went above and beyond by visiting my home in the evening, completely free of charge, to help me apply the primer coat and ensure a flawless finish.
