UnreliableI booked my appointment by phone and confirmed the date and time verbally, only to arrive today and find the salon doors locked and no one inside. I called the number twice and left a message but no one has come back to me which is really unprofessional.I booked this appointment to have my nails done before my wedding (I fly out tomorrow).Luckily, I have managed to secure an appointment elsewhere this evening but could have done without all the hassle! Won't use again in the future.

Amy was my stylist for the day. I came in to do a balayage but wasn't sure about exactly what I wanted to achieve. Amy was so helpful and honest during consultation, and the colour came out exactly as I wanted! Throughout the whole appointment I enjoyed talking to Amy and had such a relaxing and fun time. Will definitely recommend Kelly Glover to everyone seeking an honest service with honest prices.

Despite multiple phone calls - answered once a week before wedding and was promised she would call me back and never did.4 days before she messaged to say due to covid she couldn’t do my make up for my wedding and said she would find someone else for me but I heard nothing back from her at all. No apology. This is at a point in time where covid testing is not necessary unless working in healthcare so she is clearly just using covid as a bs excuse.Luckily found an amazing replacement who was doing an early morning wedding and so could come to my afternoon wedding! I was soooo lucky to find her and for her to agree to come to my aid after I was abandoned by kelly glover.

I had a cut followed by a perm from Kelly and am totally satisfied with both appointments. The experience was so relaxing and the result was just what I hoped for. Both Kelly and her trainee, George, are very friendly and attentive.

Omg Amy and the staff are so friendly. I've had numerous hairdressers and none of them have done what I asked for . Amy totally delivered I showed her a pic and she done the exact colours and style I've been waiting for . Salon is so clean and welcoming, and make u feel at ease. All the girls are friendly they go above and beyond. Prices are good to . Can't wait for six weeks to come for my next appointment . Hubby thinks he's got a new wife

I got my hair cut my Amy, and she is SO talented. I went to gershwins earlier in the day and although they were fine, they didn't quite complete what I wanted (hair thinning), so I called up Kelly Glover and Amy said she could sort it straight away, and she took out SO MUCH HAIR. It looked like a dog on the floor (I have insanely thick hair!!) but she made it look neat, healthy and my hair still looks amazingly thick! So I am really happy with that!

I am not the one to write a review in-fact this is the first negative review i have written. I forst went to Kelly glover hair and beauty in 2019 to get my acrylics done and the service was good although the woman doing my nails asked if i wanted gel, knowing it cost extra i declined but she said she would put them in anyway for no extra price, i agreed and we continued, I then went to pay and was charged for the gel and being a 16 year old with no job and paying rent this took a dent out of my pocket and i had to borrow money of a friend. I decided to go back to have my eyelash extensions done looking for a nice place to regularly get them done, they gave me cluster lashes and they fell out a week later so i went back to show them and the lady very nicely gave me extension (the real ones). I decided that i would go back again to get them re-done, i booked a week in advance for 13:30 and was called on the day to ask if they could push it back an hour, that’s okay because i understand people are busy in these times, 45 minutes later i was called they wanted to push it back another hour, just for a background, i am a full time support worker for my grandma, a full time university student, a full time support worker at a home and learning to drive this means i don’t have a lot of free time so when i do get a day to myself i try and fit a lot of things in so this cut my whole day, they then called and said they would have to cancel because hey have fallen behind, i fought to have my appointment and finally they agreed so i walked into town and turned up on time, i had to wait and whilst waiting i was told the prices had gone up, last time i looked the eyelash’s cost 25£-35£ but not more and now after having my session pushed back i would have to pay 45£. I am genuinely upset because i really liked the vibe there but will not be returning after being put on a joke for 4 appointments. I am really sorry for other staff who actually care and this is not about you if you try your hardest everyday.

I brought my two aunties for a treat, to get our nails done for a wedding we were attending. Their first experience of having gel nails, and being pampered, was a great one. Rhianne looked after us very well and we were all delighted with the wonderful job she did.

Had another great experience today at Kelly's salon. I always feel welcome and well looked after when I visit. After talking through with Kelly what I wanted she cut my hair into a slightly different style and left me looking years younger and totally pleased with the end result. Once that was over Odette gave my feet a wonderful pedicure that left me feeling as if I was walking on air afterwards. Thanks again Kelly and team.
