Manager was condescending. Climbing wall terrible, overbooked and just dangerous. No refunds after giving obvious reasons about how it was dangerous. Another person walked out complaining as i was asking for a refund. Terrible. Manager should be sacked before someone gets hurt

Never been climbing before and not great with heights however Joe was a very good instructor taking me through all the kit and the safety aspects. During the climbs he was good at encouraging me to go higher and what to llok for in routes. Can't say much for comparison to other centres however the 2 persons for an hour private lesson was well worth it for me and the girlfriend and would go back for the starter courses.

New outdoor pump track is fantastic, the inside skate/bike area is great with lots of different obstacles.

Bouldering wall is way behind standards. I've seen no investments over last couple of years. Many good climbers dissapeared from TX. That's probably because it's massively overpriced (£7,5/hr!), holds are old, there's neither moon board nor kilter board over there (managers - google it), no music. You have to book your visit online and when I tried to do so, the website crashed(!). I couldn't pay on the spot and had to go home first time.Closing at 6 on weekends is also something incomprehensible to me.Price of the rental shoes is out of space! For £6 you are getting no name shoes with rounded toe tip. I would be ashamed to offer something like that.Wall is good for people who didn't get a chance to climb somewhere else. If you are looking to start business in Aberdeen, open bouldering wall. You will attract many climbers with minimum effort.Staff is really friendly though.

Climbing wall review only.A medíocre place which keeps getting worse! I would say don’t bother but there is no other climbing facilities in Aberdeen unfortunately so you might have to. I am a local Aberdeen climber who prefers going to Dundee. The new policy is, if you go in before 5pm you pay less, the off peak, but you have to leave by 5pm or pay again full price. Essentially if you go with an off peak entry but have the audacity to want to stay after 5pm you have to pay more then someone that starts at or after 5pm. Makes perfect sense doesn’t it?! Also routes are uninteresting and old holds it really does not have anything going for it! We deserve a better climbing facility in Aberdeen! What a shame!

From the moment I stepped into transition extreme , I knew I was in for a treat. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or trying bouldering for the first time, TES is the go-to destination for an amazing climbing adventure.I had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return for more climbing fun. The first visit to the venue Granddaughter did the climb and dine 2 hours session. Unfortunately found there was no coaching and guiding the kids. Also moved too quickly to harder areas and younger kids struggled as the don’t have the height, leg and arm length to stretch. Should be guidance on where to put arms and feet to get moving. Disappointing for the cost.
