Astley Bridge Cemetery

A large cemetery close to Asda. Unfortunately the church within the grounds is boarded up, however, the grass is being cut, presumably by Bolton Council, and it generally looks tidy, although some of the grave stones have been either pushed over or fallen over. There are some large interesting grave stones close to the entrance, that belong to romany gypsy families, so I was told by a local Stone Mason engraving one of them.

The grounds are well maintained

Grass overgrown!!! Long grass left upto grave stones when you do eventually mow it!!! Bins over flowing!!! And too top it off you are now selling the old church in the middle!!! It has too be the most unkept cemetary i have ever seen!
