I had my first FSN needling treatment at Dr. Wu's clinic in Cambridge, on January 2nd, 2023. and it was truly a mind blowing experience!!I contacted him after reading about this modern form of acupuncture developed in China in 1996 (by Dr. Zhong-hua Fu), because I hoped that it might reduce my unbearable heel pain.In 2006 Dr Wu was awarded a Ph.D. in medicine in the field of acupuncture by the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where formerly, in 1992 he had been a respected consultant and Associate Professor of TCM, and since 2010 he has specialized in FSN, and is currently the President of Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling Association in Europe (FSNAE). So I knew for sure that he must be a consummate practitioner.Previously, I had been diagnosed with a bone protrusion (Haglund's Deformity), causing excruciating heel pain and damage to my Achilles tendon. A Cambridge surgeon (Mike Barrett) recommended a drastic surgical procedure, followed by three months of wearing an orthopaedic boot! So in desperation, I decided to try FSN needling instead.After ONE single FSN needling treatment by Dr Wu, on Monday 2nd January 2023, I was walking 100% pain-free for the very first time in years! Prior to this, since 2018, I had suffered intermittent, but tolerable attacks of pain, but approximately six months prior to my visit to Dr. Wu, the pain had become so extreme, that sometimes it became unbearable, causing me to shout out in pain.The pain relief from this first treatment, lasted for a full three months, and then only a very mild discomfort returned.A second opinion from another orthopedic consultant in London, confirmed the effectiveness of FSN needling, because all inflammation in the area had subsided, and the specialist confirmed that the absence of pain was not due to a deadening of the nerves, so he strongly discouraged surgery, recommending instead that I occasionally visit Dr. Wu whenever necessary.A second treatment entirely removed the slight discomfort, and Dr Wu also reduced significantly my neck pain and increased the restricted movement caused by disc and facet joint damage.I highly recommend Dr. Wu for his authentic and honest approach. Acupuncture has been used for pain relief on the NHS since the 1950s and Dr. Wu has an extensive background in both traditional and modern acupuncture. From 2002-2006 he was president of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (ATCM) and is recognized for his expertise in FSN which uses a shallow needling technique to treat joint and muscular ailments, providing fast healing with less pain than traditional acupuncture, thereby effectively treating a multitude of joint and muscular ailments including heel pain (plantar fasciitis) tennis elbow and knee pain, as well as many other medical conditions. Indeed, incredulous patients, (including me!!) often describe their experience of FSN acupuncture as being “genuinely magical” .My brother now visits Dr. Wu for various problems with his hand (trigger thumb) shoulder joint pain, backpain, and neck soreness (he is nearly 70) and he is also extraordinarily pleased with the results! So without any hesitation, I thoroughly recommend that anyone suffering any sort of pain should contact Dr. Wu to see if he can help because if Dr. Wu feels he cannot be of assistance, then you can be sure he will let you know because he is 100% authentic and honest…a truly genuine practitioner of an incredible system!In 2011, when doctors led our family to believe that my 86 year old mother’s health was so bad that she had little time remaining, Dr. Wu and his good wife Dong-Ni Chen commenced treating her twice a week for about a year, and subsequently once a week for approximately another year.Thanks to this, her health massively improved, and I am firmly convinced that were it not for their considerable help, she would not have reached anywhere close to the ripe old age of 90 years and three months! (She died 18th September 2015).

Dr Wu is fantastic. I had hormonal acne for about three years and he was able to clear it up within 3 months. He is very knowledgeable and kind and I highly recommend his service.

Attended for first acupuncture and after that my arm was completely numb and painful as I couldn't even move my arm and was in so much pain. Went back to them complaining and all they said was take a hot bath and apply hot water bags. None of these helped and they even challenged to give my money back. £70 waste and I ended up much worse! Avoid this place

Rude , expensive and honestly the worst Chinese doctor I have seen. Made things worse and shouts on me. Dangerous, shouldn't do this job when he doesn't know what he is doing
